Good iPhone alarm clock for CANWILD/DEILD

I have been searching for a really long time for a good alarm clock with an auto shutoff feature so that I could do DEILD without hasle. I tried to find one at the store but none had that kind of feature. I tried to find the on for the computer on the internet and I found a few methods but they were all to hard to work with and unreliable and my computer wasted energy and made to much noise. When I got my ipod touch I tried to find a good alarm clock app for it and there are tons of them but I couldnt find any with an auto shutoff feature. That has been frustrating and I know many of you guys have been looking for the same thing.

Sunday night I tried searhing the internet again for an app and I finaly found one with a auto shuttoff. It is called 12,24 Alarm Clock Sleep Music. It is $0.99 but it was worth to finaly end my search and it is actualy a really great app.

      Pros
      1) Automatic shut off. You can set how long you want the alarm to go for before it shuts off.
      2) You can use music from you iPod. I am using "Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien" which is the the song they use to signal the kick in Inception and it has been pretty interesting.
      3) It has a optional fade in feature so it can wake you up more naturaly.
      4) It has a flashlite you can turn on to see in the dark.
      5) It looks nice! I like the style of the digital clock and you can change the colors. I use red because red light preserves night vission.
      6) It shows exactly how much battery you have left.

      Cons
      1) You have to have it plugged in or else it might run out of batteries. If all you can charge it through is your computer then you will still have to deal with the noise from the fan but if you have a wall charger or something else like me its no big deal.
      2) The app has to be open and running to play the alarm. Just make sure you have it running and set up right first. I actualy really like the clock on there so I am using that to tell the time throught the night.

The last two nights that I have tried it it has worked really great. I havnt been able to get a lucid from it but that is because I accidently moved when I woke up. I hope you guys find it helpfull. I suggest that you double check your alarm is set up right first just incase.

Thanks so much for finding this app. I have literally spent hours looking for an app that could do this but to no avail. I feel this would work best for entering an LD for me. I realize I'm bumping an old thread but I know theres other people like me out there who could get great use from this. Once again thanks MadMonkey for posting this and I can't believe no one has replied to this.

No problem. I know how frustrating it is to find such a simple feature. Maby a bump would be good to show more people this app. I bet there are more alarm clock apps with the auto shut off feature that might even be free but there are thosands of alarm clock apps.

I tried that before but 2 seconds of alarm is rarely long enough to wake me up and its not nearly as customizable and easy to set up, I don't think you can change the sound that plays either but I'm not sure on that.
