Valerian Root

Hey everyone, Do any of you take valerian root as a sleep aid? I take tablets containing 400mg. For me, they increase the vividness of dreams and dream recall.

I played around with valerian root a lot. Sometimes would take upwards to 1.5-2 grams of extract (4--6 tablets). Its interesting stuff. It definitely seemed to make my dreams more vivid, but often they were more difficult to recall. I think its because they made my dreams a little more abstract and odd. Its definitely cool stuff though. If you like Valerian Root, I'd recommend getting some dried mugwort and making tea with it. If you're interested and have any questions on preparation, shoot me a PM.
