      REM Dreamer Mask techniques

I am starting this thread for Users of the REM Dreamer.

To discuss the specific training for it , the specific obstacles and solutions to those.

The first Obstacle is one i have heard mentioned by 75% of users - The issue of a Foreign Object on your Face.

The second (related Obstacle) is similar to Billybobs summary of WILD, i quote him:

...."all WILD techniques are simply mind exercises to keep you from thinking about what you're trying to do (ie. get into the dreamstate) as you do it. They are merely attempts to keep you distracted as you slowly drift off to sleep."

In this case with the MASK , How are we to achieve a similar Attitude prior to Sleep, with this on our face? I can get to sleep with it but if there is ANY thought of the Potential Goldmine it Delivers in LDs, i then cannot have LDs due to a subtle Anxiety (similar to Hunter Mode, that Ev talked about a few years ago)

There are other Obstacles, but i start here . Hopefully we can also work on Daytime Training (noticing Light sources-RCs), and other things.

      OM

Todays focus is on Training for REM Dreamer.

This is just a suggestion and hopefully later, after more trial and error - we can prove it out as yay or nay.

The main suggested training in the Manual is Daytime Mindfullness of LIGHT phenomena.

Personally, i found this somewhat easy, but a little vague in that its harder to do in a well lit and unmoving environment . So i am experimenting with the ADA Mindfullness training :

First as it is mentioned above, then i will try to bring in more focus on the EYE Perceptions, as a MASK Foundational training. Any users of the MASK, please try and see if helps or not.

This is simply for training for the MASK, i am still unsure of way(s) mentioned in First Post on the Intial Obstacles of WEARING it.
