      Alarm question.

      right now I am using an alarm that will go off for a few seconds then shut off, and I have it on my laptop. The problem is that I need to have my laptop open for this, and it is a bit distracting having the screen brightening my bed. Is there a way to let the alarm go off while it is closed?

      Not that I know of, but is there a setting on your laptop to have the screen turn off after so much time has elapsed?
