      hmm..... would this work?

i was wondering how good a chance of a MORE VIVID dream would be if...

-i had hot chocolate (ovaltine) before going to bed
-i did not masturbate for a day or two

      i may or may not take a b-complex 150mg.

      any thoughts?

again, this is simply for a MORE VIVID dream. a much more vivid dream.

I think most people are still pretty unsure whether chocolate and lack of masturbation has effects on lucid dreaming. I myself have had more vivid dreams with chocolate. There wasn't really a change when I stopped masturbating for a week. You'll have to try it out and see what works for you.

I had an incredibly insane lucid when I ate some tic tacs before bed. My thinking was that people on here have been mentioning peppermint tea, and I figured that since I had some mint tic tacs laying around, this might also work. Really did. But they need to be chewed, not just swallowed whole!

Tic-tacs, you say? Hm. Now THAT's interesting. I've never heard THAT before. I wonder if it's just a coincidence, or what? I'll have to see if I can track down some peppermint tea...

Although, if you're talking about a LDs, try clarity pills. You can probably get them over the counter at most dream pharmacies these days.

Just went and bought Tic-Tacs. That'll help, I'm sure.

Might be a coincidence, might not (don't believe in them personally) but i had more tic tacs last night before going to bed, and had another amazing lucid. Long dream short, I was in Switzerland, and I could feel the snow falling on my skin (was in a t-shirt) and I could feel the coldness of the air around me and of the flakes of snow. Also felt the recoil of a gun I fired, but that's another story!

Not sure. I didn't have much progress when I tried it. But I think I'm going to try not masturbating again. Mostly for another theory I'm testing out, but I can kill two birds with one stone and use it to test out dreaming too.

Interesting. I wonder if Tic-Tacs really do help or if it's just a placebo affect. I reckon you should keep testing the 'Tacs and maybe do some experimentation with other mints (Mentos, Altoids, etc.).
