Please tell me if this works!!

I want everyone to try putting their cel phone alarm on vibrate and have it either attatched to you or right beside you when sleeping. Set it so that it goes off near the end of your sleep cycle (about 5 hours in). See if it helps you get lucid. My theory is that you'll feel the vibration in your dream or at least feel something that should signal you.

If it works it's called a CPILD Cell Phone Induced Lucid Dream

That's not a bad idea, but most likely the vibrations would wake you up. There is definitely good logic here. If you said to yourself, "check reality when i feel vibrations," then it could be the same as having a reoccuring dream.

Have you had success with this method?

I've used the phone's vibrations for WBTB, so it probably wouldn't work for me. But for a heavy sleeper, it's a great idea .
The NovaDreamer is based on the same idea, with outside stimulus entering your dreams. But the NovaDreamer uses light, and is relatively expensive. Cell phones are cooler

Makes sense. reminds me of that alarm available on the SaltCube website. I haven't used the alarm, but it's the same basic idea, right? Can you adjust the intensity of the vibration? I don't have a cell phone, so I'm a know-nothing.

I haven't tried this yet Diamonds I just thought of it now. I think you can adjust the intesity of the vibrations, I'll have to let you know tomorow.

I just put this in the Lucid-Dream-Technique machine, but my hyper advanced LPU (Lucid Processing Unit) said that the technique fails in every aspect.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the method, Marvo. If the vibrations weren't enough to wake you, and your recall is established enough, there is evidence that you would experience vibrations of sorts in your dreams.

This technique might take a couple trial runs to perfect, but definitely worth a shot.

Some evidence is that, during a dream, you can hear music that's playing.

The biggest flaw is, how do you turn it off without waking?

Most phone alarms stop going after a minute or two. At least mine does.

The problem is, that this technique might work, but only for a small amount of people. Unlike WILD and DILD, this technique is only for people who applie as deep sleepers, people with established dream recall, and the will to keep trying, until it works. It also depends on how their cellar phone is. If it vibrates too much, it'll wake people, two little, no effect, and if it doesn't turn off within a few minutes, it might wake you up aswell.

I ordered the *Invisible Clock online and have been trying to use it as an LD prompt but it keeps waking me up even on the softest vibe setting. I will have to try wrapping it in a towel and putting it under my pillow - maybe that will work.

*the Invisible Clock is an alarm clock about the size of a box of matches. It can be set to beep or vibrate, and it has up to 12 individually setable alarm times per 24 hours - very good for RC reminders. It has a slew of other functions as well such as timer, stopwatch, date, etc. The duration of the alarm/vibration is fixed at 20 seconds and cannot be changed.

      vibration

      http://www.biowaves.com/ecommerce/co...BWEP-VibPillow

if you take this and put under your mattress or pillow and hook it up to your computer alarm I use lucid clock I cant remember where I got it but it lets you play song for 1 sec intervals .set it to go off at 5:00 am for every 15 min you should hit a rem cycle .The trick is working how long you want the audio from your computer to go to long it will wake you up to short you wont feel it .Ive gotten it to work a few times and became lucid I haven't been using it .But I really think vibration is the way to go.In my dream I feel I'm getting electricuted or a earthquake I'm in .I'm going to start using it again , so ill keep you posted

I also ordered the Invisible Clock. I don't want to sleep with a cell phone close to my body because I am paranoid of the radiation.
