      The LucidVibrator

Alright. What I do in this 'mini technique' is to set my phone (Sony Ericsson phones all have this) tasks and reminders. Then I put my phone on silent. I have them set for 3.00 am, 3.02 am, 4.00 am, 4.01 am and 4.02 am. This just makes a vibration, three short bursts. I attach the phone to my leg, or wrap the neckstrap around my hand, and it fits well. This has the same effects as the NovaDreamer. The vibration comes into my dreams.

I also set it for a few minutes before my alarm goes off, so it is easier to get out of bed because it wakes me up slightly and my alarm pushes me the whole way. But that's another story.

So what do you think? My dream recall has gone recently, what with moving around for Christmas celebrations and that, so I have no results to show for it (lucid wise), except that the vibration definitely appears in my dreams.

But I would appreciate feedback, and suggestions/advice.

Not a bad idea, actually. But would you feel the phone? I mean, your body's paralyzed and numb. The NovaDreamer works by using a sense that's being utilized in dreams and in waking life at the same time.

You could just use a sleep timer like one from Saltcube. It's the same concept as your idea but uses sound instead of touch.

Plus would you risk crushing your phone?

It does definitely work, like that vibrating clock I found somewhere, but I can't remember the link.

And my phone is the W550i and that is pretty 'heavy duty' looking and is very strong.
