      Saltcube type MP3 with 4 hour delay

      Hi all,

      I have made a MP3 that uses the single (triple) beep from Saltcube's timer page.
      It starts with a beep (so you can set the volume you desire) then has a beep 15 mins later and another 15 mins later,
      then a 4 hour delay followed by a beep every 15 mins thereafter (a total of 9.5 hours).
      The main tactic in beeping every 15 mins is to give many chances of catching yourself out and realising you are dreaming!!
      Too often (like every 5 mins) would make the beep too accepted and adapted by the brain, where 15 mins seems right,
      as you may miss hearing some beeps with deeper sleep stages.
      Turn it off when you are ready to get up as it it set to run for most peoples sleep duration.

      Here's the thinking and how it has worked for me and others:

      I have an advantage and able to use the Saltcube timer during the day. I set it for 15 mins and when the beeper goes off,
      I reality check (for me its look at my hands and say "I am dreaming..go Lucid now). I do this during the day.

      You don't have to do this, but I find the repetition helps for later in your subconscious.

      When you go to bed put your headphones in (I have a sound pillow), and set the volume using the first beep.
      You may have to experiment as this version is not to wake you up for a WBTB, but to signal you in sleep (REM sleep) to do a RC.
      You can rewind the first beep over and over to get the volume right.

      Then do what you normally do to relax and prep for dreaming and sleep.
      BUT you MUST always do your actual RC at the first and second beep (the initial at the start, and the one 15 mins later).
      This puts hand, mind and eye coordination to work. There will be a final beep at the 30 min mark before the 4 hour break,
      but that one is done IN YOUR MIND to transfer the RC into your thoughts ( and off course the later ones in your sleep).
      You may drop off to sleep by then, and no matter. If it wakes you up, drop the volume a bit, not too much as you will be in deeper sleep later.

      The point now is to go to sleep with the thought of when you hear the beep you do an RC and go Lucid from it. It works for me.
      It can take a few days of trying, but myself and 2 of my friends had a LD first night.

      The reason I look at my hands and say something to myself is my fingers always look weird in dreams and I go lucid if I ever see them.
      Trick for me is to look at my hands as often as possible and link it to the beep sound.
