      Trial 2

I listened to the preset I used above for 40 minutes, about 2 hours after I woke up. This was the closest I have ever been to a WILD. I was seeing vague images, numbness and tingling in fingers, toes, legs, and arms. I heard several sounds that startled me, which in turn made me realize my breathing felt restricted. I eventually tried counting in my head to focus, and by the time I gave up, I was missing numbers and unable to continue.

I will try listening to this tonight as I go to sleep, and maybe again as part of a WBTB.

Marvo, it souned like you put one of the carrier frequencies too high. Clicking will work above 1000hz, binaural carrier frequencies must be below 1000hz or they are not effective. for the binaurals I put the carriers at 200, 400, 600, & 800 hz. The clicking enveloped noise at about 1,500 hz with a 90hz range. That just how I did it, but it will help to keep all of the binaural carriers below 1000 hz.

Seemingly the bough is the cause of the fruit,
But really the bough exists because of the fruit.

I'm very interested in this whole brainwave thing. Is it safe, however? And if it is, can it really help me WILD?

I can't say I understood much of that. What I did was basically just making 4 "voices" and then putting one at 2 herz, one at 4 herz, one at 8 herz and one at 34. I agree one of them is loud though, but I assumed since you said "a little bit", I was supposed to put it on a really low volume or something.

Can't really say about safety, as I am not aware of any studies done about this. Ask around, you will probably find that the worst that has happened is a major headache. Avoid it if you have epilepsy.

Helping with WILDs, sure it can. By entraining your brain waves, you can pull yourself to a beta state faster, decreasing the time you wait for a WILD.

Alternatively, put a delay before the brainwave entrainment. If you can get it to bring you to an almost-awake state while you are still asleep, then you will be raised to a level of consciousness that will (hopefully) cause more vivid dreams, by augmenting REM sleep.
