Turkey is not, in fact, a significant source of tryptophan. It contains it, but the sleepiness caused after eating large amounts of turkey is typically from overeating, and not from the tryptophan. If you easily have nightmares or sleep trouble from overeating or digestive problems, I suggest you not try to induce a tryptophan sleep from eating turkey, or really any other foods.
