Do these really work? Do they really help you have more lucid dreams? I don't plan on getting one, however I have heard of them and it always fascinated me that such things existed. So much so that I have begun to question if they even work.

I'd like to try one, and the reasoning behind them does make some sense.

Ya, I wanted to try one too although I heard sometimes the beeps or whatever become incorporated as a part of the normal dream. I still thing at the very least it would help if not make a substantial difference.

Don't really think it's worth the price atm and since they are like being remade or whatever are overpriced on Ebay now.

Yeah I agree that the theory behind how they help you become lucid seems pretty solid and seems like it will work. However for the price people are asking for them I don't think, at the moment, it is worth getting one and having it not work.

Here's a device that you can build if you don't mind going to bed looking like this ..

There's always the REM Dreamer: www.remdreamer.com.

I had 3 LDs in my first week of using it (last week). None so far this week, but then I haven't been remembering any of my dreams at all this week. Personally I'm lucky because when I do notice it go off, it's totally undisguised and I become lucid immediately. Its much-hyped "two way control" feature doesn't work, though.
