Inducing Vivid/Lucid dreams with plants

      Silene Capensis--http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silene_capensis

      Calea Zacatechichi--http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calea_zacatechichi

Anyone ever try these plants to induce lucid dreams? I hear they're very effective, especially Silene.

I'm going to get some Silene within a week or so, and was wondering if anyone here has any suggested methods of ingestion.

      Thanks in advance.

Yes, Calea is crap for me - it does the exact opposite. I never remember a single dream after smoking it. Most of these dream herbs seem to be superstitions/placebos and nothing more based on my observations.

The general consensus on these forums seems to be that drugs give you less control over your dreaming mind.

They're really not drugs, just herbs. And yes I know dope is a herb but these are a slightly different category to the funny fags.

Well; marijuana, alcohol, caffeine, and like psychoactives could defintently affect dream recall.

But Silene is used for the specific purpose to boost lucidity and recall of dreams. Like taking melatonin or B6 to regulate sleeping patterns.

I also hear that after an nn-DiMethylTryptamine experience dreams become more vivid for a few weeks to a month.

Yes because you know, you can go just buy it from the super market "hey can i get some DMT?"

I tried both with little to no success.

I had one Sil dream that was very intense and freaked me out, but that was it. I've found that galantamine works quite well.

Calea zacatechichi is an effective herb for lding, don't know much about the other one. Also, you shouldn't rely on any LDS to give you an LD, they should be used to complement an existing routine.

Ok, so assuming the effectiveness of Calea relies entirely on the placebo effect, IT WORKS 100% OF THE TIME!! TRUST ME!!

No really, I bought some from the net and it never worked for me. In fact, I couldn't sleep after smoking it because it gave me a terrible headache.

The only, single WILD that I ever had was after smoking a joint made of Calea Zacatechichi. It doesn't work everytime but when it does then the effects are intense.

Besides many people claim more vividness, dream recalls, surrealism (psychedelia?) or deeper meaning of their dreams.

I've heard that you need to use this herb on a regular basis to get best results. I'm not planning to use this herb anymore but I guarantee that it is an effective aid for some people.

P.S. In Poland, the bill has been passed that made calea (along with many other substances or plants sold by smartshops) illegal to buy or posses.

Well, my calea and silene arrived.

I'll use silene in the morning and calea at night, along with melatonin for the next week or so.

Will report back if my dreams get noticeably more vivid.
