      Lucid Aid Experiment

When I finally get around to making videos, this will be something I cover and record my progress on.

Using ninja's Supplement / Herb / Drug Repository as a point of reference, we can see just how many supplements there are that can assist in Sleep, Dreams, and Lucid Dreaming.

Most of these we're already familiar with. B6 is both famous and infamous, B12 is its little brother who never was quite as popular. Melatonin is a friendly face, and Tryptophan has recently introduced itself over the last year or two. Even Galantamine we've chatted with a few times.

Now here's the question. Has anyone attempted to take a Supplemental Cocktail?

Looking at our available helpers we have
      B5
      B6
      B9(Folic Acid)
      B12
      Choline
      Melatonin
      Tryptophan

We have the option of adding Galantamine to the mix as well.

I see Methionine and Serine under the "Take with" columns in ninja's guide, but I know little of what they are, so we shall disregard them for now.

What would be the result of a 50mg, or 100mg (each) supplement cocktail with each of the listed supplements, from B5 to Tryptophan, about an hour to a half an hour before bed? What if we added Galantamine to the mix? If we include the "Take with" items, and include supplements of Methionine, Serine, Zinc, Calcium and Magnesium, what would be the result?

This has other effects as well. The main goal we are trying to reach is increased Seratonin production which has a positive effect on mood among other aspects.

But the real question is, how would the night progress? Has anyone tried such a cocktail? Any side effects to be worried about? These are all naturally occuring, and in many cases, necessary vitamins and amino acids that our body requires. In all cases we would not want to over do it or make a habit of it, and there may be side effects to worry about.

Any one have any thoughts on the matter?

Use more than just ninja's thing as a resource.

If the main goal is increased serotonin production, why not just keep it simple with 5-htp supplements?
