Conscious Lucid 'Dreams' and Ambien?

I have a prescription for Ambien, and I was reading things on a thread around here about people entering more of a waking, vivid lucid day dream on Ambien.. Where they were able to control things like a lucid, but were awake. I was wondering if anyone else has had experience with this, and if you could tell me more? As far as actual lucid dreaming goes, I haven't attained lucidity on it, but my dream recall doesn't seem affected negatively!

Ambien does not make you lucid dream, it is a very strong hypnotic drug for treating insomnia. Ambien has never helped me become lucid, though I do end up with ocassional severe amnesia if I do not go directly to bed after taking it. Please post in the active ambien thread, one is enough.
