Cool Using lucid dreams to experience scenes from a book.

I'm pretty new here, and have yet to have a lucid dream, but I just had an idea and I'm curious to see if anyone has tried it.

Basically, has anyone tried to experience or reenact a specific scene from a book?

I was thinking about talking to or commanding a Guardship from Glen Cook's The Dragon Never Sleeps, and I remembered how epic one battle scene in particular was. I figured it would be cool to just kick back on a cosmic lawn chair in the dream and watch the battle play out.

I figure it would work well since all of the specifics and information concerning the battle are already in my head, but I'm not too familiar with how lucid dreams work. Would such an activity be too passive and lead to instability?

The idea was a bit different from the others I've had, in terms of what I'd like to do with my lucid dreams.

      Anyone ever try anything similar?

Provided you keep the dream stabilized that should work fine. Personally though, I'd mutch rather take part than watch

You should be able to enact that battle just fine and watch it. As long as you have stabilized the dream and have good control, it wouldn't be a problem

Haha, cool! Now I've just gotta get the lucid dreaming part down.
