Long wait finally over, hurdle cleared!!!!!!

Well last night I had my first fully lucid dream ever. Feeling quite a buzz right now, wanted to go back to sleep and try it again but figured I would share it with you nice people while it is still fresh in my mind!
So I used the WBTB technique, got up at 530 am after going to bed at around 12ish. I stayed up for somewhere around 45 minutes before attempting to sleep again. Durring my 45 minutes awake I reality checked 8-10 times by looking at my hands. As I laid down getting ready to sleep I synchronized a mantra/chant with the clock ticking in the background thinking that it might trigger me subconsciously when I was dreaming. The mantra was simply "I am dreaming" but with the tick sound it was more like....I...am...dream...ing. Did that over and over until I fell asleep so for a good 15 minutes.

I remember laying on a couch with my ex gf and her mom and we were watching some terrible movie I had no interest in. I heard her dad coming up the stairs and for some reason I did a reality check...there didn't seem to be a real reason for doing so...maybe the clock sound made me remember(can that actually happen?)

Anyway I looked at my hand and started counting left to right, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
Then I knew I was dreaming, but I did it again to be sure...same count.
It was amazing because my hands morphed into some weird antlers when I was counting, pretty trippy.

I got up off the couch and I was alone in a house I have never been in, my first thought was I should go pee haha so I started walking to a bathroom, on my way there I thought, everyone seems to want to fly in their lucid dreams so I should try.

I leaned forward and pushed off in the direction of the bathroom and what an incredible feeling!!! by the time I got there I had forgotten about even having to go, So I turned around and soared out. I stopped and had an urge to do some pushups to see what it was like. I did 3 and it felt like 0 gravity. I thought...I could get used to this. I floated back over to the couch(which is actually what I was sleeping on) and sat down.

I then drifted back awake when my dog barked(frustraiting!)
The whole experience seemed to last 1 minute or so...
I did a reality check because I wasn't really sure if I had a FA but I was completely awake.

This was my first time attempting the WBTB technique, will be experimenting again tonight!!

Sorry for the length...Just excited I guess!

      Cheers
