Darkness ruined my LD

Hi, I was about have my 4th LD 5 minutes ago.. I took a nap while trying to WILD, someway i was too sleepy and I enter a non-LD I can't recall my dream is about right now... but I suddenly became lucid in a darkness, after those tingling vibrations Trying to stabilize it by moving my dream hand.. but i actually move my real hand and then I woke up... Oh well, I'm going to try it again Any ideas why i move my real hand not my dream hand? Thank you for your reply

My guess is that you were in extremely light sleep. Your dream probably hadn't formed completely yet and neither had your sleep paralysis. So you just had 3D blackness. That's about it.

Yeah I don't know what happened, but I do know that if you were lucid, or dreaming, you would have been in sleep paralysis thereby inhibiting your ability to move your real hand...therefore I don't think you were fully in sp and unable to get lucid yet. I bet if you would have given it a bit more time you would have gotten there.

Yup! I was in a very light sleep. And about 2 hours later (approximately), I have my 5th LD! WOW! The difference is, I have a deeper sleep though not too deep. At first, i feel usual tingly vibrations when became lucid, try to move my hand and my 'real hand' move again.. open my eyes and I see my room.. but I don't know, somehow I know that I'm still dreaming.. so this is my first False Awakenings... I forget somehow I can back to dream again with LUCIDITY! Yeah! Though my LD was not vivid... I remember a DC guide me to calm,stabilize,etc... You guys don't laugh,OK? the DC who was guide me is like OSAMA but without beard! Nah, I don't care since he guide me to stay longer in LD world.. In this short LD, I just walk into an Aquarium n fish store, and just see FISH there.. I don't remember lost lucidity, but I'm happy can explore my mind in LD Thanks guys for your support!

your lucky that you had a dream character help you from what ive heard dc are usually calm or violent. darkness also ruined my dream when i tried to do a reality check in one of my dreams and i was using my watch and i look at my watch and its to dark to see so i just continue the dream not ld that sucked.

Not necessarilly.. i agree with the fact that you were in very light sleep.. but i have had cases where I've been able to LD and control my real life body at the same time. Theres two ways to do that, purposefully because you concentrate on the LD, but you manage to move your body, and non-purposfully.. in the case you have the disorder where you don't go into sleep paralysis. Keep at it though.. i've been caught in darkness before (and sometimes pure white)
