Thread: Frustrated! I wanna do Super Speed running

As always when I LD, I try to run superfast like Superman. Its been an ongoing challenge for me to pull this off. 2 nights ago, I had an LD, RC'd by holding my nose and still being able to breathe (such a weird feeling!) and I was trying to run super fast. I just cant seem to do it. Has anybody ever done it? I managed to fly perfectly, and even built up a lot of speed as i flew over fields but when trying to run fast, I just cant and nor could my dream characters.

I once summoned Clark Kent to show me, which he did, but he didnt tell me how to do it! I just saw him zoom off!

Apart from that, my LD was great - I was showing off my flying abilities and how tough I was by offering DC's the chance to punch me as hard as they liked and they were hurting their fists! Also did a hand stand on my finger tips which they couldn't believe!

I also want to have somebody shoot a bullet and I wanna catch it in slow motion hehe

It sometimes helps to watch a good representation of it, in the desert scene with the hulk, he does that if you wanna watch it.

LOL.. sorry this just struck me as funny!

Your ability to do so many other things is impressive. I can't explain why you can't run fast.. maybe you could try thinking of yourself as the roadrunner (like in the cartoon) and see if that helps. (hey it's worth a shot)

I am yet to achieve this but I know I am going to.

Although I've been aware of Lucid dreaming since I was young, I have only started to experiment and control in the last year or so. So far I have done the following and all thanks to being Lucid, and remembering I wanted to do these things in real life:

Mastered Flying to the point of controlling acceleration without having to always jump in the air too
Flown into space
Started fights knowing I cant get hurt
Flown through mirrors, taking me to different scenes
Walked through walls
X-Ray vision (only once)
Commanded time to stop while I carried on walking (people stopped walking - very funny!)
Commanded Higher lucidy and other things to make the dream clearer and better
Summoned myself along with others into a dream
Shot Laser Beams from my eyes (very hard)
Shot white energy from my hands (not the easiest to do)

Now what I need is Superspeed Running or travel, visit Lucid Cross Roads, Zooming Eye vision, Visit another planet, OOBE

I think thats enough to be getting on with Time to sleep...
