Obstacle finding Dream Guide

I had a weird experience trying to find my DG in a lucid dream. Each time i tried to ask a DC for my DG i get this feeling at the base of my head that goes through my brain and then restarts the dream into a new setting or the same place i was at the beginning of the dream. I tried a couple of times then later gave up since the i didnt want to waste my LD. The sensation felt like a numbing shock that starts at the base of my brain and then slowly got to the front of my head. Anybody have this happen to them before?

Wow that's really weird...never heard of anything like it.Some people already find their DG in their first LD others have to try and try and try.Take me for example:I've had 67 lucids and still haven't found my DG though I've tried to find him in most of ly lucids.Sometimes it was annoying other times I had some interesting discussions with DCs.One time a DC really started pissing me off and said my DG is on vacation and that he left me alone....

Just try again in another lucid

I never had this kind of feeling, and never heard of it.
I tried a couple of times finding my DG, with no success. I have had fear, unconfidence, etc while trying to find my DG through doors. I only found some DCs one time, but I don't belive he was my DG.

That's never happened to me nor have I ever heard of it.

Have you tried searching for him yourself?

I tried to ask for my DG to some DCs and had that numbing feeling in my head. It was weird.

I had a lucid recently and tried to ask for my DG but i was semi-lucid and i end up losing lucidity and forgetting about it. I think that feeling was just a one time thing.

That didn't answer my question. Did you ever try to find him without assistance?
