7 year lucid dreamer..only just thought to give my opinions

Well this is rather weird...ive had lucid dreams for the past seven years, become quite an expert at most aspects , only just thought id post my thoughts now..i didnt know sites like this existed..lol.. My first experience was unexpected, and i didnt think much of it then but now it sounds extremely weird..i didnt undergo any mental training to achieve my lucid dream..a person next to me in my dream told me it was a dream! I find this more strange when i consider that there was also no real stimulus in the dream to prompt me to this decision..for example everything was as normal as it could have been. Wish i could remember who told me it was a lucid dream...any thoughts on that??

Hi, welcome Meowy dreamviews is a big place, I think we have a few thousand members, I too had a dream where someone told me that it was a dream, I even took an object around in a dream that said "Are you dreaming" or something like that on it.

Had that a few times(not enough) where a dc tells me I`m dreaming.I`m going to try to stimulate it with repeated self suggestion before sleep - tonight my dream charachters will tell me i`m dreaming - ad infinitum.

When I started LDing, I didnt know about all the differant ways to induce them ... WILD, HILD, WBTB, DILD, etc. Then I checked out the tutorials and read the WILD one and was like holy shit! everything I kept reading was exactly what i had been doing. I just thought it was wierd cuz it emphasized many people have trouble doing it or cant do it at all ... i just ... do it

Welcome onboard! Like you, I started LDing before I knew of any techniques. I just knew that sometimes I had them and I always enjoyed them.
