That's quite interesting. I've read other posts describeing similar techniques, camomile being another natural relaxer that has been used. I think there might be something there. I'm gunna have to try that! Thanks. |

Well, I don't know if you could call it a "dryspell" since I never did have consistent LDs, but I can finally count last night's LD a true LD (as opposed to some of those short "hiccup" LDs I had). |

Ok, just an update: |
|
I take a B complex. It’s important to get all your B vitamins. The Gotu-Kola Tea and St.- John’s-Wort seem to be helping me with dream recall. I had many dreams and only managed to record a few because I was so lazy and tired and did not feel like reaching for the recorder. I put that in my memo that I need to fasten the recorder to my forehead or something so as to remind me to record sooner. This was just the first night with the tea. Will keep you posted. |

I just made up a gallon of tea today and am ready to go. If you guy don't mind I'll lay off the B vitamins for a whole week to give our experiment a little contrast. No B just tea. And after a few days I'll switch to some B vitamins and report back. If that’s ok with the boss (head of sales department) of this experiment. I just got the book today from Sephen LaBerge (exploring the world of Lucid Dreaming)and I have nothing else pressing at this time. So we can experiment together or apart. Makes no difference to me. I’m going to drink my tea. I’ve had this strange desire for a peanut. Just kidding. If you read earlier post you’d get it. |

Oh, a note on why perhaps drugs, or anything else you ingest, may help in lucid dreaming -- it may be that poisonous or toxic substances, in killing you a little bit, release a great deal of psychic energy, sort of inducing a kind of 'mini- near death experience'. This is why herbs like valeriurm and bella donna which are in fact lethal in sufficient dosages, seem to help in lucid dreaming or in astral projection -- the Spirit wants to flee from a poisoned body, and the slowly dying body is releasing sufficient Life Energy to intensify the experience. |

[quote]But one need not need necessarily to take actual poisons to fascilitate Lucid Dreaming, as you could simply starve yourself -- what the Spiritual and Religious People call 'fasting'. Fasting has always been the preferred way of dying just enough to engender strong Religious and |

well im not using any drugs, vitamins, or whatever you guys use. The only thing i use is my skill - but i suck at this. Im a beginner. So im still learning. |

It's wierd, but I've found that drinking helps me have lucid dreams. If I get drunk, then sleep for six hours or so and wake up, no longer being drunk, and go back to sleep, then I almost always have a lucid dream. |
