      strange dream!

      hey guys!
this is my first post here.. lucid dreaming first crossed my mind yesterday actually..ive been researching it non stop though! i went to sleep last night really wanting to have a lucid dream...it seems like it would be such an amazing experience..anyway i tried a few methods before i fell asleep but sadly, i awoke in the morning (at about 6am) with no memory of any dreams! anyway i decided to try WILD...i fell back asleep and started to see some very strange shapes and colours.. they were just kind of merging and changing..i could feel vibrations through my body and it felt like a plane was flying over me... it was very dramatic but enjoyable! the next thing i remember is hearing strange high-pitched noises in my ears..almost unbearable.. those effects seemed to stop and i awoke in my dream... i opened my eyes and i was lying in bed..there was a piece of hospital equipment above my head and i pushed it out of the way...i rolled out of bed wondering if i would wake up.. i remember feeling as if the dream was fading so i shook my head and rubbed my hands together. that seemed to help. i looked up and noticed that a set of my drawers was hovering in the air i looked over and my quilt was also hovering. i thought i would be tricky and try to make them drop to the ground using "magic". i tried to make it happen but they just continued hovering there. i got quite frustrated at this and ordered them out of my room...i must have been a bit too forceful because at that moment i awoke..

any comments on this would be great! im very new to this stuff + very interested so msg me and well have a chat!

      First- WELCOME!

and second, it was just your first night and you already tried WILD! thats very optimistic!

also, you should try to start by trying to recall a few dreams a night!
then recognize some dream signs and all!

a book to help is by STEPHEN LaBERGE!

"EXPLORING THE WORLD OF LUCID DREAMING"

      its a keeper.

with a first night like that you should definatly start up a journal, you may be missing out on alot of your dreams!
You can either write them down in a book right when you wake up, or ifyou are lazy like me you can use a voice recorder, just speak your dream, and then later on play back what you said and write it down =)

      Welcome!! aboard =)

:yumdumdoodledum: :yumdumdoodledum: Welcome ely! :yumdumdoodledum: :yumdumdoodledum:

Sounds like you are going to be a power lucid dreamer. I've been trying to learn how to WILD for months now and you do it the first time you try?

      I envy you!

I first heard of it in 1980 when reading a Carlos Castenada book.
I didn't think too much about it for 10 years until I spontaneously had one. I spent a little time with it and was kind of getting bored and frustrated with how few I was having(only 2-3 a year), until I stumbled into this place!

i've noticed that when people generally describe finding this place, they use the word 'stumble'...its great how this place can get us up on our feet and running, instead of stumbling...you guys ROCK!
