strange character in most of my dreams

i'm fairly new in lucid dreaming but I felt that this post should be here under the experiences category and not under the newbie one. I've only had two lucid dreams since i've started practicing but I had had several sleep paralysis experiences before I knew anything about Lucid Dreaming. Anyways, the last lucid dream I had was about a month ago and in my dream I was talking with my parents in our kitchen (I don't exactly remember what we talked about) but somehow something my father said triggered me and I realized it was a dream. I actually said it aloud "This is a dream". My parents continued talking and since I was now lucid, I started to walk around and explore the world. But i wasn't even halfway out of my house when something caught my eye in brother's bedroom so I went inside and saw some strange monster standing in the bedroom. He was incredibly small. I barely came up to my knees. He wore a strange hoodie and didn't have a face at all, only a mouth. I walked up to him and folded him many times until he was a tight ball in my hand but then after this I guess i forgot I was lucid and just went back into the dream. My question is, I've seen this EXACT same "thing" in many sleep paralysis, where I see him sitting on my bed, engraving his nails into my hands! Why do I keep seeing the same creature????

It's just something that you expect to see in your dreams so it's there. Btw what a passive aggressive way to get rid of the creature. I'm going to try that next time I'm lucid.

what you have is very dangerous, its called a dream troll and can be very aggressive if threatened. jk i honestly have no idea what you are seeing repeatedly and why, it sounds pretty fucked though
