      LD can't wake up!!

      Hows it going everyone?

I had about 5 lucid dreams last night that i could remember, and I seemed to learn something in each one. I noticed in my previous dreams that i would rarely hear the wind or feel the wind in my hair when i was flying. I think its because I never expected it or was aware that i should feel the wind. This time I expected to hear and feel the wind when I flew, the wind was as real as real life. So I'am started to think what we expect to happen in our dreams and LD's will determine the content of our dreams. Anyways

I was also wondering if anybody has had any trouble awakening from a LD. I tried it and the more I tried to awaken the more I was sucked into the dream.

Hiya Bryan! I think most of us tend to have the opposite problem -- awakening from a lucid dream before we want to. I know that I would like to be able to prolong my LDs -- in most cases I wake up way too soon.

I can't say why anyone would want to wake up from an LD unless they totally screw up the dream.
Don't think about those damn kangaroos.

The only reason why I was trying to wake up was because I was going to be late for a class. For some reason I knew how accurate the real time was in my dream and realized I should wake up or I might miss a test I had in one of my classes. But yeah, usually Im trying to stay in my LD's as long as possible. Sorry for the confusion

yeah iv had that problem, in my first LD, but just remember that your dream time is alot faster than real time, (example: 10 minutes in a dream could be 1 minute in r/l)
~I wake up a little more every time I dream.

Yeah I have had situations where I felt like I could not wake from my dream...or I would just keep having a series of false awakenings and it would get really frustrating. Eventually you just have to sort of will yourself out of that state.

I often wonder if that's what it is like for people who are in comas?
