Thread: My first two lucid dreams after getting into this a couple weeks ago.

I just registered on here after having my second lucid experience today. I'll share the two experiences.

My first was a false awakening, I woke up in my room playing pokemon under the sheets (I am 21 btw). I turned the game off and i heard some one else playing but I knew my room mate was gone and I looked around and saw my mouse on his desk and then I was like maybe I am dreaming... I looked at my bed and it was way higher than usual and did not have the same blankets and I was like shit I am dreaming. My first reaction was fear and I tried really hard to wake up (this I think is from becoming aware when I was a little kid and getting scared, it was my knee jerk reaction.) Then I was like, wait this is what I have been working for and first thing that popped into my head was turn into a werewolf, my hands started to get huge with thick fur and claws and I slowly woke up, it was pretty cool.

Then today during my nap I had like 4-5 dreams and I would wake up very slightly (not moving and keeping my eyes closed) after each one and try to go back to sleep, I slowly became more aware each dream until there was one zombie dream where I was in a bathroom, I woke up (very slightly) and I was like ok go back into that zombie dream. I got back in and I was lucid right away so technically it was like half wake induced and have wake back to bed because I was like 90% asleep when i told myself to go back there. I stood up, looked in the mirror and I was WAY different and had cuts on my face from zombie fighting. I heard the zombies slaughtering people next door and I was like, this is not where I want to be for my second lucid dream so I rubbed my hands togethor and I thought change the scene, everything went white and I was in the mall (I still had my gun though from the zombie dream). I was in the prudential center (a mall in boston) I looked outside and there were these people coming towards the mall on sidewalk and I saw this 4-6 year old little girl. I thought (brace yourself) what if a bus just came and hit her right now, I had mixed feelings about it obviously and I was like this is a dream I can do whatever I want she isn't real so I commanded a bus to hit her with my mind. This huge greyhound bus came and demolished this girl going like 100 miles an hour. Then I asked the dream to summon me a hot girl, it brought me a girl who had been competing for my affection (like those reality shows) in a previous dream and she had been the most prominent. I saw her far away but I couldn't get to her because it seemed like the mall had shifted in a way where I could not follow her, anyway the mall was really cool, all the characters my imagination created were cool to see and get a good look at. (actually kind of makes me sound like an ass running over toddlers and walking around a mall with a shotgun looking for a hot girl but i'm not lol)

Things to note if you are having trouble becoming lucid:
Both of these were during naps in the afternoon.
I had 3-4 dreams and woke up after each one before becoming lucid.
I woke at 10:00, went to class and ate breakfast anticipating becoming lucid the whole time, and doing reality checks. I went to sleep and had many extremely vivid non-lucid dreams before getting the lucid one.

biggest thing to help me other than dream journal (right after your dreams) and massive amounts of reality checks involving your hands was just inspiration to become lucid.
