      My first LD

      Hi,

I had what i think was my first lucid dream last night, in the dream i was at work things were a bit blurry then for some reason i hold my nose and blew and i was able to breath still. it was then i believe i became lucid the feeling was overwhelming everything became very bright and vivid almost like being awake. like i said i was at work and as i knew i was dreaming so i started running and dancing around with excitement jumping over the office furniture i didn't care as i knew it was a dream. i then went to find something to try and float like a pen at this point i stated to loose it and woke up

is this generally what it is like when you become lucid?

Ok so Lucidity is just this: when you know your dreaming
So technically, you just had your first LD! congratulations!
there are many techniques that can help you keep the dream for longer, for example, focus on something in the dream as hard as you can, examine everything about it, rub your hands together, focus on the friction, all these things should make the dream more vivid and last longer.
      Again Congratulations.
      Newbies are people too.
