Thread: 1st LD (kinda)

I already posted this in the general forum but didn't realize that I should put it here.

This morning, after I had briefly woken up for a second at around 6 AM, I had a dream. I was at school and all of a sudden I was naked. One of my friends pointed it out and I started to run. Then it just clicked and I said out loud in my dream "I am dreaming". A teacher in my dream said "yes you are". I was so excited and I closed my dream eyes and did a RC (put my finger through my hand) and it worked! Then, in the real life hall going to my bed room, my mom made some noise and I think I understood in my dream that this noise could jeporadize my LD because I thought she might be coming in my room to wake me up. I am not sure if I had already woken up at this point or if I was still dreaming. Everything went black and the next thing I remember is waking up.

I was just wondering what I should do next time this happens. Maybe try to open my eyes and hopefully be in a dream world, or maybe spin.

This is very encouraging because I keep forgetting about doing RCs and just get out of the habbit of my dream journal. I had not been keeping up with any of this for about 2 weeks and I just had my first close encounter with a Lucid Dream. Very exciting!
