      3rd Almost Lucid Dream

Last night I was going to try a WBTB HILD. I woke up naturally about 5 hours after I went to bed but I think I fell asleep before I actually did and RC but I'm pretty sure I had my lucid dream right after that. It was pretty random ... I was taking a Spanish quiz that I hadn't prepared for in this mall and during the quiz I started throwing plasma grenades (like in HALO). I realized that I hadn't finished the quiz so I went home and Instand Messaged my dean (who i guess I thought was my Spanish Teacher) and told her what had happened. Now I don't remember a lot but I do remember that I randomly decided to do an RC becasue I have finally gotten into the habbit. I stupidly closed my eyes and then did the plug nose and breath RC. It worked. I remember thinking in my head "I must stabilize this dream becuase i want to explore it". I then tried to imagine what my room looks like and put myself there. When I opened my eyes I was still dreaming but I wasn't in my room. I think i lost lucidity there.

Next time I realize I am dreaming in a dream should I close my eyes to do an RC or willl that just make it all the harder to stay lucid. The other time this happened and i closed my eyes i also lost lucidity.

Also, newby question, whats a False Awakening?

I've never felt the need to close my eyes in any dream myself. If it tends to lead to losing lucidity, then I'd avoid it (assuming I want to lucid dream, which is obviously yes )

A false awakening is when you dream that you wake up. So if you weren't lucid, you'd probably then realise that the last 'scene' was a dream. If you were lucid, there's a good chance you'll be tricked into losing lucidity then.
