I had my first lucid dream last night. I set my alarm and was going to wake up around 5am to try a WILD. I fell asleep though and woke up 40 minutes later. I stayed up for about 30 minutes, then tried a WILD. I know that I didnt get far into the WILD andjust fell asleep. But I did have a lucid dream. I was flying, then realized that I cant do that in real life. As soon as I realized that I appeared in my house (still in a dream). I performed a load of reality checks, but before I got the chance to do anything else I woke up.
I dont think I was completely in control of myself though. It was only a semi-lucid dream. And it wasnt very realistic. How do you make your dream more realistic? I tried spinning and focusing, and that worked a little, but not a whole lot. Heh I wasnt very impressed with my subconcious' writng ability either. When I opened up a book to do a reality check, it was all a jumble of letters and numbers...
