Cool First Lucid Dream, Finally! (long read, detailed)

I used the DILD method. I'm not going to lie to you guys, I just don't like all the preparation and such of other methods. I'd rather just lie down and whatever happens happens. I usually have awesome dreams regardless, but this one was different. This is very detailed and as you can see, it's a long read.

There were about, in the dream, about 10 minutes where I wasn't controlling it. Where I was just watching the dream like every other person would. I was in an urban setting and people were shooting at me. So I was literally thought to myself, I have to do a reality check right now. So I took cover behind a building and did the usual three tests I do in a row. I first try to put my finger through my palm, that felt like if I pushed harder it would've worked but I figured if I wasn't dreaming I would've hurt my finger. So I moved on to just checking my hands to see if they were weird looking. They weren't. Most likely because I do the checks so often in real life that my brain just embedded the reality check sequence in my mind. So I moved on to the final check, the big gun: I plugged my nose and took a deep breath. I was expecting the air to stop, as it does it reality. But it didn't, I actually breathed. So in my dream, I was like "HAHA! I'M ACTUALLY DREAMING!" I remember actually screaming that, because I was so happy I finally caught it. Then, I remembered people were shooting me so I busted into action. I put my index and middle fingers out and put my thumb up and made a gun shape with both my hands. Kind of like a kid would. But when I said "boom", bullets actually came out and shot the last 4 guys to tail me. Then I walked to the street below all this commotion and now is where it became REALLY lucid. I looked on the horizon on the street and thought "I'm not going to be able to walk home...I wish I had a quad." When I looked at the headlights of the vehicle I spawned, it honestly felt like reality. Infact, in the dream I thought, "I now know why they make reality checks. This is so real!" That was like the peak. Because after I got into the summoned Red Ford F-150, things became all foggy and less lucid, like a normal dream. But I was SO happy to see how real it could look.

Thank you for your time! Post yours if you would like, and thanks for those who actually read it. haha.

Congratulations, seems like a very cool dream. And it lasted, didn't end quickly.

      Congrats bud ^_^
I'm not sure if you're aware, but the best way to keep yourself in a dream is to stabilize your dream body within the dream. Good luck ~
