I am very excited because this past week I was able to have an LD two nights in a row. My technique invloves becoming "saturated" with psychology and philosophy information right before bedtime. I found that this increases my awareness before I sleep and gets me thinking analytically.

Anyway, in last night's lucid I decided to experiment with the clarity of vision in my LD. I have been slowly developing techniques for more control and detail in my LDs. I dreamt that I was in a large concert hall. The walls were all wood paneling and there was a large stage at one end. On that stage there was a lone trumpet playing. The audience was chattering away, and among the crowd I spotted one of my friends. For fun, I sat down next to him and tried to convince him that he was nothing more than a character created by my subconscious; that he did not exist. He told me "No. This must be reality. You can't have control in a dream." I assumed that this was an attempt by my subconscious to throw me out of my lucid state. Luckily, my lucidity was so great that it didn't affect me at all.

Then, since I had read tutorials on the subject, I decided to increase the clarity and intensity of the surrounding objects. I looked closely at the wall, and I felt my vision sharpen. I looked at my hands (instead of the "M" shape of my lifelines, it was a heart symbol) and I felt my vision sharpen even greater. I turned and looked at the concert hall and found that my vision was stronger and clearer than it ever was in reality. "Extrasensory perception" I thought and became so excited that I woke up.

I feel I am getting much better at LDing and dream control than I was even a week ago. Tonight I am going to attempt a WILD. Wish me luck.
