      My First Lucid Experience!

Hey guys, I think I had my first lucid experience the other night. It may seem insignifigant, but I thought I would share it with you guys. It's a little bit of a silly dream, and I only seemed to have control briefly.

Well first off all I had taken out some money from the bank, I didn't have alot of money and I was going to go get a game from EB Games, but when I looked in my wallet I was surprised to see that my $20 bills were actually $200 bills (yes, a $200 in Canadian currency, it was completely red and had the Queen on it ) I was happy, and I decided I would pick up the PSP system instead (for those of you who don't know, that's playstation portable).

So I starting walking to the store, then I stopped and thought to myself 'Man, this is just a dream...why am I even bothering to walk there?', and then, I pinched myself to reassure it wasn't a dream and I floated through all of the buildings and cars and such to take a short cut (if any of you have played any First Person Shooters and used a "No Clip" cheat, that's exactly what I did). So anyways, after a bit of that, I decided the suspense ( ) was too great and I wanted to just pop-up at the store.

I lost control from there however, as thing were not going my way. The store teller told me my bills were counterfiet and he was calling the cops. He was purposely agitating me and when the cops arived he accused me of trying to attack him. From there things went hazy.

I know this may seem like a stupid, silly, insignifigant dream (I must have been thinking about video games before I went to bed ) but I just thought it was so cool finally experiecing a quasi-lucid dream. I hope I have many more (and many better) lucid dreams.

      Hope you enjoyed my story.

      Dear Cuttooth,

You REALLY need a Lucid Dreaming Checklist.

After you became Lucid, you decided to continue within an ordinary dream action. It is as though becoming Lucid was hardly able to change your plans. Yes, you multiplied up your money and bit and flew to the store you had originally planned to go to, but it never occurred to you that you had other choices open to you.

Being Lucid you should have wondered of what use a play station would be to you. If your Dream Self wanted to buy a Playstation, then it could buy it later on some non-lucid night.

Lucid Dreams should be used to do what you always wanted to do in a dream. You should already have planned something that you wanted to do or experiment with.

You should treat Lucid Dreams as though they are Jens from a Lamp offering you 3 Wishes... except you only have 1 Wish. Don't ever throw a Lucid Dream away by continuing with normal ordinary dream action.

A good Dream Checklist startes with STOP. Stop what ever dream action you are presently in.

Next comes FOCUS -- fix your Lucidity by quickly looking at or rubbing your hands and pick up your breathing rate to intensify your conscious energy.

Then LOTUS. levitate upward into a Lotus Position. Intone a Good AUM and rise up and out of that Lower Dream World. Get out of Dodge!

Alot of people think Levitating and Flying is goal in and of itself. Yes, it is fun. But one should only Go up and then find a Destination and come down. Ordinarily I never have to worry about finding a place to land. I just find myself losing altitude, and it turnes out to be a Landing Zone into what are usually Higher Dreams.

Now, Higher Dreams also take some planning. Along with putting together a Lucid Dream Checklist, one should give one's Subconscious Minds some suggestions regarding your Spiritual Priorities and Concerns. What do you want out of Life and Lucid Dreaming? It will give your Dream Mind a sense of what kind of Special Dreams to provide you with when you go Lucid and escape from those lower realms of ordinary dreaming.
