      Lucidity is impossible for me!

Seeing as I've always wanting to have a lucid dream, I do an RC every hour or so. It's just become another thing to me. Sometimes I don't pinch my nose hard enough, and a little bit of air is released, so I have to try again. Recently I have stopped trying again, due to boredom.
In last nights dream, I did the RC (It's just a natural occurance, I can't help myself) and I could breathe through my nose FULLY with my nose pinched, yet I STILL wasn't convinced I was dreaming! I though "Oh... Ok.. Damn... Maybe next time I will be dreaming."
It's only until I woke up that I realised I was dreaming, then of which I kicked myself. Lucidity is impossible for me!
      Yeah. I'm a noobie.

      A Few Suggestions

      Hey Meard

I have had 4 Lucid Dream's in the past 3 months...5 in my whole life--but i only begun the awesome Experience of Lucid Dreaming about 4 months ago..I know what you are saying..Pinching your nose and realizing that you can breathe through it should allow yourself to become Lucid..Well maybe since you do it so often in your dreams, that it just has become to natrual for you to realize that you are dreaming...

Therefore, i have a suggestion...What i did for the first view Lucid Dreams--to make myself go Lucid...is to tell myself "I'am Dreaming" or "I'am in a dream" this really helps because its straight to the point, nothing else..You tell yourself right away that you are in a dream and everything that is going on is not real..So there for you will become Lucid, and beable to take control..After that try doing a reality check---again maybe not your nose since you are so use to it--but try putting your finger through your hand-like i just did in the Lucid Dream i had last night--it intensified everything so much, it was the most intense LUcid Dream that i have had so far..I also told myself before i was lucid that "I want to have a Lucid Dream" i said that twice, and everything became so real--then i did my reality check..

So the next time you are in a dream..try to make yourself--tell yourself--"I'am Dreaming" or "I'am in a dream" there for you realize that you are dreaming right away, then do a reality check, to make everything more clear..then my friend..try to calm yourself so you do not wake up right way..tell yourself "Stay calm" after you have done that, you are free to explore....

I hope this helps you in your journey into the dream world

Hmm... It took me about a month to have my first lucid dream and I didn't do any exercises. i just kept a dream journal. At first, I too, didn't have any luck and then I just sopped trying. I even didn't write anything in my dream journal. And suddenly, BAM! , there it was.
