      Lucid Sleepwalking

I remember this dream vividly. It was back when I was still in elementary school. I remember watching my dad play a game called Doom or Quake (I am sure it was Doom though) and I had a dream I was that character. I must have realized I was dreaming, because I remember being able to walk around at will. I was walking around my house with a HUD like the doom guy. I remember walking into the kitchen and there was a giant cupcake. I walked up to the cupcake, but then I wanted to go back to bed. So I went back up to my room and the dream ended. I woke up the next night and my mom said that I was sleepwalking. She told me to go back to bed and I did. That would explain why I wanted to go back to bed. But should I have been in tune with my outside senses? Has this ever happened to anybody else? The very first lucid dream (and probably the only one I have ever had) was accompanied with sleep walking. I thought during LD your body was supposed to be paralyzed? What happened?

      This is very interesting.

The part about you sleepwalking and getting sensory input. You say you had a hud kind of vision. Ive acctually thought about this before. Kind of connect to the subconsciouss and get a hud over the vision who would tell about what i look at. Or if im on an exam information is comming up on the hud so i can dig into what ive read, and write it down.
      This is very interesting!

But that sleepwalking while you are lucid is kind of scary

You seem to have broken the protective shell of sleep paralysis which keeps one from acting out his/her dreams.

It's an interesting thing that You made this topic, because I was just thinking about what it would be like to be Lucid while sleepwalking... You know, the Dream Self is capable of doing ANYTHING in a Lucid Dream, also in waking life (all those miracles that people have done - like levitating, teleportation - were done with the Dream Bodies), but it seems to be rather difficult to guide your Dream Self to the Waking Life - but You managed to do this.

Sleepwalking is an interesting thing in itself, You've probably all heard about people walking in their dreams to distant places and even climbing up to the rooftops (which they normally aren't capable of doing) - the Dream Self realizing that it's awake (a "reverse Lucid Dream" as someone has said).

The metaphysical implications of what happened are making my mind reel.

I will be watching for anymore activity in this topic... cos that's.... it's crazy, but I can see how it happens, it's just... wow.
