The First and Most Memorable LD

It was Dream induced, but it was a wild series of events.

It started out that I was at a beautiful waterfall that reminded me of somewhere like Hawaii. I looked into the sunset and the clouds and couldn't beleive just how beautiful it was, before realizing I was dreaming I kind of just felt like willing myself to jump and fly. (Maybe I realized it was a dream by how perfect and beautiful the imagery looked like.) I then began to fly for the first time and It really wasn't too hard, it felt almost natural. I then decided to fly into the water which was briiight bright blue. At that instance my dream changed, but I could've also woken up and went back to sleep from excitement.

Since the dream I went into I didn't seem to remember I was actually dreaming even though from what I remember, it was a clear transition into the other dream.

*Note* ~ I think many of the things I accomplished may have been beginners luck or something like it. Mainly because I haven't been able to achieve some of the things again like flying (well).

As I was in my second dream I was in a dark type of shady house. It was all kind of grey and dirty. I then got shot three times by someone, and another guy involved was there and I pushed him in front of the 4th shot. It was all quite graphic and intense, I could feel the shits too, which hurt like hell if I may add. I then tripped or something and I then woke up in a bed. The room around me was wooden and also dark. I looked at my hands to see if what happened was real or not. I was shocked when I saw the scars of the bullet and the bullet lodged in my hand, with no distortion or anything like that. I freaked out thinking that I really got shot and looked back at my hands and they looked weird so I realized I was dreaming. I was elated and saw a table filled with dirty dishes and bottles and decided to mess around and do some Jedi stuff. I waved my hand and didn't know what to expect but all the dishes and glass went flying into the air and kind of stayed there like 0 gravity and in slow-mo. I was shocked and amazed of how awesome it was and then I went to the room I woke up in and saw lots of stiff I wanted to see... then I woke up.

That is really quite long, but it was quite an awesome dream and the first real lucid dream where I could actually kind of do what I wanted to do haha.

I know how it feels to LD the first time.
But you shouldn't just go around flying just because your dream scene was vivid.
You must first stabilize the dream, you must activate all five senses to make the dream last longer.
You must relax, touch objects with your hands and see how real it feels. Smell that atmosphere, Hear the sound of the waterfall. Imagine and apple and eat it, just here the sound of your teeth piercing the apple, taste the apple and see how amazingly real it tastes. This steps are sure to help you have longer LD. There are many stabilizing tutorials you can find here on DV.

Anytime, you feel your lacking something, just touch something and don't get too involved in the scenes.
Like, Once I saw my a beautiful girl (who I knew), In a car and she winked at me and waved her hand. I got so exited I ran after the car. But when i thought it was too late, I turned back and I saw another familiar face, I went to see who it was, but it wasn't the one I was looking for. I then saw two people singing a song, I was like I know this song, I asked them which song it was. One of them said it was a french song. I knew I heard that song before and I started thinking about my physical body and woke up.

So you see how my mind never let me sit in one place.
If you go around running like me, the dreams wont last long. After every now and then tell yourself that you are dreaming and you can control everything around you.

And whenever you have false awakenings, and you see something weird like your wounded hand just assure yourself your dreaming and do a reality check. Don't get panicked because you know this will never happen.

I am just giving you tips, so that the next time you dream, it will last longer and it will feel unmistakably real .

Yeah I have been reading a lot about LDs and I am getting better at controlling them and making them last longer.

Thanks for the tips, i will be sure to use them when I am lucid again!
