Had my seventh or eighth lucid last night

But, it was my first one after a very long break of not lding for a long time, I'm very happy with the dream, too. It was actually a replay of a previous dream I had, and I even recognized that in the dream and told the DCs around me what was going to happen, which may have just been dream control. But, I also wasn't able to control the actions as they happened (I wasn't lucid at this part) and after we got out of the vehicle we were in, I realized that I was dreaming and that this could be a lucid dream, I told the DCs around me that this was a lucid dream, and one said What? You can't do that!; I reality checked and had my first LD in a long time.

Congrats! Many people find, that telling DCs that you are in a dream is not always a good idea. They either try to convince you that you are not lucid, or make you forget that you are. But it may work totally different for you. It does sound like dream control - when you say what's gonna happend. That's a good way to control or summon things - by saying that it will happen, instead of wishing for it to happen or materialze. Happy dreams PS - you gotta start counting them, haha.
