first lucid - without even trying!!

Hey guys! I just had my first ever lucid dream!
It was very odd because, one, it was a DILD, and when I was trying to get lucid I only used the WILD technique and two, I haven't tried or done any reality checks or anything of the kind for over a month now. This just kinda hit me out of nowhere! Here's what happened (as I wrote it down):
I cannot remember the past dream, but it was in the morning, and I could tell it was a dream because I could hear my little sister talking outside of it. I lay down in my bed and told myself, 'if I sink back, I will have a lucid dream', kind of just to see what would happen. I felt myself sinking down through the bed and everything went black. All of a sudden, I was standing in the middle of my room. I knew that I must be lucid because I had just told myself I would be. I also knew that I needed to stabilize the dream, but I forgot to do any reality checks. I could feel that the dream was a bit shaky, as if it was shifting slightly from side to side. I had read on here that looking at your hands was supposed to stabilize the dream, so I looked down at my fingers. It looked as though they were being bent out of shape in the way they would be refracted by waves in a swimming pool. They constantly slightly expanded and contracted, getting fatter and thinner, as though they were breathing. For some reason, looking at my hands did not help me stabilize the dream, bu made me aware that I was definitely IN a dream. I also remembered that looking at details was supposed to help stabilize the dream. I looked at the grain in the wood my wardrobe is made from and told myself 'this is too realistic to be a dream. This must be reality.' At this point, the dream became much clearer, but it still felt a little blurry. I walked over to my window, which was over my desk. and remember thinking 'this may actually be reality - it does feel like it.' I pushed my window open as wide as it would go, and jumped down onto the ground. I think due to the fact that I haven't kept a dream journal in a long time, I could only vaguely remember what happened next. I remember either flying, or imagining flying with both of my hands in a fist together, my arms stretched out in front of my head. I then decided to go on google images on my computer to find a nice location to fly to. When I pressed the red 'x's to close the internet window, the whole dream went black, and I woke up.
I thought it was quite bizarre, the way I woke up was odd. Either way, after giving up before, I'm happy I finally got lucid and now hope to do lots of work in order to get lucid again!

      Congrats

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

This happened to me after my first couple WILD's. In my opinion it is because you are excited about LDing and you want to so badly that even if you dont practice RC you can still have the idea in the back of your mind. So when you're dreaming it kind of pops up and you become lucid.
