I've been reading this forum for awhile so now I finally decided to join.

Last night I was watching the movie National Treasure at about 10:00 PM. It wasn't too long before I fell asleep. I woke up sometime around midnight to the sound of the DVD menu music. I started the movie again because I didn't get that far. I wanted to sleep again, but I felt hot. I kept moving back and forth trying to find a good position to sleep. It was not very comfortable. Then finally I rested on my right side for about only a minute.

All of the sudden I started to get the vibrations in my body. The little colored shapes that you see behind your eyes started moving very fast as if I was traveling through time or something. I thought, I must be having a WILD or something! It lasted for about 10 seconds, then it stopped.

I opened my eyes and was still in my bedroom. It looked exactly as it had before it happened. Even the T.V. was still playing the movie loud and clear. I decided to do a reality check. I pinched my nose and tried to breathe. I could breathe! Then I looked at the T.V. that for some reason now had random words on the screen. I looked away then back again and they were not even real words anymore. I got really happy and said, "I'm having a lucid dre-" But I had trouble pronouncing the word 'dream'. Everything was so real looking even though some things weren't logical.

I appeared in a scene from the movie (this whole time I could still hear all the dialogue of the movie very clearly). I walked up to one of the characters and grabbed him by the shoulders and shoke him a bit and said, "I'm dreaming!" He just stared at me like I was crazy. Then I climbed out of a hole that was in the ceiling and was now in a field.

The main girl from the movie and I were going horse-back riding. She showed me how to properly attatch the sadle. The scene change to my room. My brother came in. I looked back at the horses and they were blow up slugbugs. I said, "Wait a minute..." I turned back to my brother who was sitting in my closet for some reason. I told him over and over again, "Guess what! I'm dreaming!" But he also looked at me like I was crazy. Then I woke up.

I'm wondering if the WILD I had was real or if I just dreamt it was. I didn't even try to have one. It was so random. It only lasted about 10 seconds. My dream lasted a few minutes. This is kind of my first LD since I started trying to have them. I'm pretty sure I've had one before a long time ago.
