      Lucid headache

Well, had something happen this morning that has never happened to me.

The alarm clock went off about 7:12 this morning. I turned it off and decided to try for some quality LD time.

I found myself in a high level LD, everything was so vivid and real, just like being awake. I noticed a small pressure in the left side of my head that continued to become worse as the LD progressed. I thought, 'great', I'm gonna have a killer headache today, it is so bad that it is intruding on my LD.

The headache grew so bad that it finally woke me up. To my suprise, I awoke without a headache!

I went back to sleep and entered another LD, this time the pain was there and increasing, but I awoke before it became unbearable.

Again, no headache in waking life.

Anyonw else had this happen? It was kinda weird.

Hmm... that has never happened to me. I would say mayb its a dream sign, but were already lucid. Maybe if it happens again,, you will remember that it was not really happening in real life, so it may just stop in your lucid dream.

I think it could either be allergies, or that your aching head might symbolize a burden that you could be hurting from mentally. This has happened in my LDs many times (mainly in 7th grade). I would have such a bad headache in the LD, I would pretty much force myself to wake up, but no real headache. I think it could have to do w/stress..Although a few times, I have tried to heal myself in my LD of the headache, most of the time, I just force myself to wake up....
Or maybe it symbolizes that you could be developing a sickness...that happened when I was in 2nd grade...I had a huge headache, & the next day after school, I refused to get up off of the couch, as I felt hot & dizzy...so it could be that...
Sorry I am not much help....

Last night I was trying to have a WILD, but when I started getting close the crown of my head felt like it was splitting open. It kept getting worse and worse until I finally aborted the WILD and it stopped. It was strange.

I've had dream pains that I didn't have when I awoke, but they were always associated with something in the dream, like hitting my foot or going through child birth.

But I don't know what yours means man. I'm just glad you didn't have the headache in real life. See if it comes back or not.

I think it's all in your head (no pun intended). Sometimes weird physical feelings just happen in LDs and I think it's best to ignore them or they can happen more often. At one point I had a lot of weird back pain every time I had SP or tried to WILD. I just started to expect it to happen. Then I told myself that there was no reason for this and that it wasn't going to happen anymore, so it stopped. I don't think it means anything that it's happening, just expect it NOT to happen again and it shouldn't happen.

Although, it is possible that some real high-powered, vivid LDs could be a strain on the head and cause a headache while it's happening. I think I recall something like that, maybe not.
Never stop searching for truth. In your search you may think you have found it, and perhaps you have, but if you hold on tightly to a single thread it will fray and it's greater meaning will become lost. There is always more truth stretching deep beneath the surface that promises to reveal ever greater the infinite, interwoven fabric of truth, woven in the looms of Heaven.

Yeah, I get the same thing as Lady Blue, I mean, I've had pain in dreams and all, but it generally had something to do with the dream. Once I got a huge cut on my wrist becuz of some nasty creature and it really stung and bled badly. There was nuthin never when I woke up of course, but it was becuz of something in particular.

Maybe your mind just gave you random feelings, one of them being the headache, since you probably know all too well what headaches feel like. Although it is weird that it happened twice. Next time you could try healing it.
