      Fake WILD?

I've been reading this forum for awhile so now I finally decided to join.

Last night I was watching the movie National Treasure at about 10:00 PM. It wasn't too long before I fell asleep. I woke up sometime around midnight to the sound of the DVD menu music. I started the movie again because I didn't get that far. I wanted to sleep again, but I felt hot. I kept moving back and forth trying to find a good position to sleep. It was not very comfortable. Then finally I rested on my right side for about only a minute.

All of the sudden I started to get the vibrations in my body. The little colored shapes that you see behind your eyes started moving very fast as if I was traveling through time or something. I thought, I must be having a WILD or something! It lasted for about 10 seconds, then it stopped.

I opened my eyes and was still in my bedroom. It looked exactly as it had before it happened. Even the T.V. was still playing the movie loud and clear. I decided to do a reality check. I pinched my nose and tried to breathe. I could breathe! Then I looked at the T.V. that for some reason now had random words on the screen. I looked away then back again and they were not even real words anymore. I got really happy and said, "I'm having a lucid dre-" But I had trouble pronouncing the word 'dream'. Everything was so real looking even though some things weren't logical.

I appeared in a scene from the movie (this whole time I could still hear all the dialogue of the movie very clearly). I walked up to one of the characters and grabbed him by the shoulders and shoke him a bit and said, "I'm dreaming!" He just stared at me like I was crazy. Then I climbed out of a hole that was in the ceiling and was now in a field.

The main girl from the movie and I were going horse-back riding. She showed me how to properly attatch the sadle. The scene change to my room. My brother came in. I looked back at the horses and they were blow up slugbugs. I said, "Wait a minute..." I turned back to my brother who was sitting in my closet for some reason. I told him over and over again, "Guess what! I'm dreaming!" But he also looked at me like I was crazy. Then I woke up.

I'm wondering if the WILD I had was real or if I just dreamt it was. I didn't even try to have one. It was so random. It only lasted about 10 seconds. My dream lasted a few minutes. This is kind of my first LD since I started trying to have them. I'm pretty sure I've had one before a long time ago.

      Thanks for signing up!

Congrats, it sounds to me like you have WILDed.

And more than that, you WILDed into a false awakening. Thank god you remembered to do a reality check!

That TV thing sounds really freaky, I cannot remember ever watching a TV in a lucid dream.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Congratulations, you definitely succeeded in Lucid Dreaming, False Awakening, and WILDing all in one time period! It definitely was a WILD, because you described it exactly as mine happen. I feel my body begin to vibrate, and then the drably colored blobs in my view begin to zoom in a warping kind of vision a little bit. So I got a kick out of hearing you describe it the same way.
Never stop searching for truth. In your search you may think you have found it, and perhaps you have, but if you hold on tightly to a single thread it will fray and it's greater meaning will become lost. There is always more truth stretching deep beneath the surface that promises to reveal ever greater the infinite, interwoven fabric of truth, woven in the looms of Heaven.

I'm female, silly! Plus, I was actually trying to get Nic Cage in my dream cuz I think he's hot, so I watched all these movies with him in them that week. I seemed so busy with all the joy of being lucid that I kinda ignored what I wanted to do in the dream.

I guess this LDing stuff comes more naturally to me because I always have interesting dreams that I love to tell everyone about or write down. I can already remember very clearly several dreams a night.
