Wink 1 night - DEILD master?

      Alright...

This night has been the most incredible night ever in my entire life! I have been focusing more on lucid dreaming the last 2 weeks, because I had more time for myself, aside of the studying for my upcoming exams...
As I had lost my focus on the whole dreaming thing, I had to start all over again. I couldn't remember any of my dreams, though I knew that they always had been extensively long. It was frustrating and starting all over again was more difficult than when I first discovered lucid dreaming (around November last year).

So the first week of my 'vacation' I had been studying quite alright and had been reading up more about some techniques and how to improve my dream recall. I already knew this, but I had to start writing again in my dream journal. I often find this ' a pain in the ass' but it had to be done so I was quite motivated to write in it. But sadly I couldn't remember even a single dream...Always these small fragments that didn't make any sense when I couldn't remember the rest of them. I was really frustrated and my focus began to decrease (again...)

So now the start of the second week, my dream recall increased a bit and I could always write a page or 2 about what I had dreamed the night before. But still there were (still are actually) some fragments, beginnings or endings that were so 'foggy' in my head that I could never write a whole, single dream down. This didn't motivate me and it was like I was making progress, but I wasn't happy about it, thinking back at a period where my recall was always so vivid and clear...Still, I didn't want to give up and I just desperately wanted to have a lucid dream again. To feel that wonderful feeling of becoming aware inside your own head.

Alright, so yesterday evening I was quite determined, but not like 'super' focused on it. I had been chatting on fb till 12 o'clock and I decided to go to bed. I had my laptop play this isochronic music (Lucid Dream Induction - "The I-Dreamer" - 90-Min Sleep Cycle (Isochronic Tones) - YouTube), to get in the mood and I was hoping to get in sleep paralysis and then hopefully in a dream, becoming lucid. But frankly I was still not that tired, so I decided to do some stuff on my tablet until I got tired. When that moment came, I layed down, hoping that the sounds would lead me into SP. Again nothing, and I was quite annoyed by the sounds so I desperately gave up, turned the music off and went to sleep. (As always, I had set my alarm to go off at about 6 in the morning for WBTB)

At 6 o'clock I woke up from the alarm and went to the bathroom as usual. I had just woken up from a dream, but I couldn't even remember...Disappointed i went back to bed. I thought about playing the isochronic sounds again and just sitting up straight in my bed, thinking about this scenario were I became lucid. I did this for about 5 min or so and went back to sleep

This is where I just can't believe what happened:

After this moment I had had about 7-8 lucid dreams, all after each other.

The first 2 only lasted about 10 seconds each...(but still :p ) The first one was actually really scary...I was sitting in this classroom with a bunch of other students. I leaned backwards in my chair and I suddenly saw my ex sitting at a single desk behind me. She was just lying with her head on the desk and with her arms covering her face, like she was crying (which she wasn't). I thought like, this is just too weird, this can't be happening. Suddenly this feeling rushed through my body and I became lucid! I instinctively looked at my hands, but I didn't have time to look properly. The classroom went very dark and all of the students suddenly were turned into this demonic, dark creatures...I was really frightened and I was being pulled at this demonic face, everything went black and I woke up. The second one was really similar and I had this anxious feeling. Anybody else who has this frightened feeling?

All of the others were amazing dreams! In total I was like 1 hour lucid! It's just incredible...This whole 2 weeks, not even remembering a single dream or only fragments of it and now like 8 lucid dreams, which I all remember in full detail! These 5 other lucids I got because of DEILD'ing. Which I had only done once in the past. All of them were falls awekenings in which I did the nose plug reality check to become lucid. (which I had actually never done before, ever)

I even met my Dream guide! It's some kind of small robot who can come from anywhere. from the ground, the walls, anywhere. I met him at an amusement park. I was walking and wondering what to do, so I thought, let's find my DG! I walked onto this little man, who was selling something. I asked if he knew were my DG was. He ignored my question and asked my what kind of sauce I would like on my fries :p He was kind of weird and was acting and speaking almost robotic or something. I just walked away, because he wasn't going to say anything useful. This next dream when I woke up (FA), my room was dark. I never felt comfortable, and I always had the feeling something dark was going to 'take' me. So I closed my eyes and I imagined myself standing on top of this snowy mountain. But it didn't work...I looked at my bed and there was some kind of really old phone on my pillow.

      It looked like this: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_nj5QjNOpgL...-telephone.jpg

It was glowing and suddenly this man and woman were sitting on a chair next to my bed. I asked them what the thing was. They sad that it was something to reach my DG. So I picked up the phone and "poof"! This little robot came out of the wall.

      Like him: http://pcmedia.ign.com/pc/image/arti...3030524283.jpg

He looked like the robotic man who I met at the amusement park! So from the beginning it was him he was smaller than the first time I met him. But I think he can transform himself in all kind of 'modes'.

So yeah, this was only a fraction of what I dreamed! I also have controlled the elements like the avatar. But I wasn't very good at it. I airbended, waterbended snow and water. It always worked, but not as i wanted to...I even woke up from a false awakening and saw my wall, full of these words and paintings, from some one before me. Who also had this lucid dreams and didn't want to forget. So he had painted it on the wall, hoping that when he woke up, it would still be there. I can't believe that these LD's actually lasted so long...I only sometimes had to look at my hands and stabilize the dream. (I even did this when I was sitting on the ground, talking with these two guys. I was shouting "stabilize!" and "clarity" and they were looking at me like I was some kind of lunatic ). The other moments I was doing all this amazing stuff 10min. in a row!

I'm still astonished of what I have accomplished...I mean, it came out of nowhere...And it was like I learned to DEILD in one night. I even could have had another FA at the end, but I thought ' I really have to stop this...maybe I won't even remember all of my earlier lucids if I keep having them'. I mean could you imagine? That I even willingly stopped myself from having another lucid, because I had had so many already :p I also just loved the feeling of doing the nose plug and feel the air flow through my nose, and thinking 'Oh yeah LD, here I come!'

I really hope I can keep up with this...but I somewhere have he feeling that this was only a once in a lifetime experience...Any thoughts?
Now I'm going to write all of them down, seperately, so that I won't forget this night. It was so awesome! (I know the title of this thread is a little bit over the top, but I'm just so shocked of what I have done )

      Thanks for reading this!

What a big adventure you had looks what I'd call latent learning: given the right motivation you just kicked ass and performed some nice DEILD! I enjoyed reading the first 2 dreams, even though they were short, but that story of your DG is quite interesting. Maybe all our DGs are just standing there waiting for us some day to notice them ^^ You even remembered to stop and stabilize, which is pretty good, you're for sure on the right track so totally deserved that 1hour LD

Glad this was the first topic I've read today, pure inspiration

      Moving this to Lucid Experiences.

One thought: dump the notion that this was only a once in a lifetime experience. Dump it now, with force, and replace it with the notion that this is the first in a lifetime experience, where you had a sturdy foundation laid in one fell swoop for all your future DEILD attempts. Don't allow any negativity into your memory of this great occasion; stay positive!

Oh, and nice work! I hope you have another such experience very soon!

Yeah you're right Sageous! But I was already planning what I should do this night, cause I'm just so thrilled by the experience, so I won't let any negativity cross my mind ever again!
It was a quite liberating experience Like I can do almost anything now!

And thanks! I'll say 'you to' but I don't doubt the fact that you have had much more wonderful experiences!

Awesome experience, I'm happy for you. This is just first of many, so get ready

Also, you don't need SP. You can't induce it, it's something that happens naturally after we start dreaming. WILD (sageous) tutorial.

Oh, I would always accept such a wish, I think... An experience like yours is welcome at any stage!

      Congrats!
DEILD is indeed a wonderful technique when used right, i really should practice it more.
Also as gab said SP can't be induced, the target of WILD is just to fall asleep while being aware.

Thank you! Yeah It's really awesome! The thing was that I always tried to think of a dream scenario when I felt I was about to wake up, but like it didn't work. And so i had a FA. is this the way you get an FA?

I think people sometimes get FAs when they think about body in the bed or that they are in the bed or thinking about waking up, though i get FAs almost all the time independent of what i think when i get lucid through WILD or DEILD.

Oh alright I think FA's are pretty awesome and usefull really. The only thing that I don't like about it that it's always so dark in my room. Like there is always something 'evil' present. Like this night I had a short lucid again. It was a very dark and scary dream. The moment I got lucid, out of the dark appeared this zombie creatures who wanted to kill me...I tried to fly away but got sucked to them and woke up. Maybe the next time I have to just do nothing?

For me FA's are not always dark, they can be either, though recently it got even more confusing where my room is as dark as at night but when i get outside it's bright daytime, haha.
Also next time you get FA, don't think about the 'evil' presence or anything like that, think about things that are good for you, and if you don't like darkness you can try turning it to daytime with some dream control, like visualizing and expecting it to turn to day.
