      Finally had first lucid!

I've tried a few times, but not too often..
Started a dream journal, kinda got lazy with it, but i wrote most of my dreams down.
But then last night, I tried a WILD and it got to a point where I felt the vibrations and heard whoosing like what i've read about others experiencing. Then i fell asleep. I didnt hold onto my conciousness enough.
I was in my room just doing normal crap when i looked at the time, forgot what time it said and looked back and it was blurry. Then i realized i was dreaming.
      I woke up.
      BUT WAIT.
I went to roll over, but after i got to my other side,i kept rolling all the way around, 360 degrees.
Thats when i realized I had a false awakening and I was still dreaming.
So i got up and walked around and explored a little, didn't do anything too amazing. Just walked around my house. I tried flying a little(or more like floating) and i got it the first try. (Probably because i've read so much about how you have to basically expect your going to actually fly) and i floated around my room before i dropped back to the ground. Almost woke up but i started spinning, and it worked, i stayed lucid. So i tried this floating a bit more, around my house and such.
I don't recall anything after that, cause unfortunately i have a bad habit of going back to sleep when i wake up, and didn't immediately write it down

Nothing too spectacular, but it was my first LD and i'm really happy about it.

Congratulations, welcome to the game! You will see that there are alot more to come, once the first one is done. You had a really good Lucid too, vivid and seemed to last long. Good work!

      Congrats on the first lucid!
And good job on noticing the false awakening too, also i suggest you to do an reality check each time you wake up/get out of the bed, pretty reliable way to catch false awakenings.
Do you have a goal list? If you don't, make one and read it every once in a while during the day and especially before going to sleep, it helps to recall goals when lucid. If you ever lack ideas to use for your goals, go ahead and borrow some from here if you want: http://www.dreamviews.com/general-lu...cid-dream.html

Good work. shame you couldn't remember everything . i once only just remembered my lucid dream at lunch time that day. im assuming ive lets some slip away to.

When ever you figure out your dreaming just try to boost straight up in the air like the matrix or float out of the window. get out of your boring house. Outside of your house will not look like what you expect !!.
Normally a boost in the air comes with a great euphoria feeling .

With the fasle awakenings try and just assume your dreaming at all times. If you ever find your self in your bed just always assume your dreaming!! . When you are really actually awake you will know about it and not have to asked the question .
