      "Realer Than Waking Life Lucid"

      Hi Everyone,

I never really write my Lucid's on here but just thought I'd put this up as it's one of them "Realer than Waking life" Lucid's and the Stabilisation technique I think helped get me there.
I had 2, around 10 minute Lucid's last night so may as well write them both to give an idea of the difference between what I would describe as just like Waking Life, and "Realer than Waking life", most of the Lucid's I have I would describe as just like Waking life, but haven't had many of the "Realer than Waking life" type.
It's a long post so if you get bored easy, might wanna leave this one out lol.

In my first Lucid I come round in bed like a WILD (I didn't really try to WILD just sometimes how it happens), get up and fly out my window.
As I do I see a Custom Motorcycle like out of the Film Easy Rider parked on my front Garden, so think ok I gotta take that for a spin!
I get on, start it up and off I go.
It feels just as if I'm riding a Motorcycle in Waking life, I can feel the weight of the Bike, my feet on the gears and the bumps on the road.
As I go through the gears and get some real speed I can feel the wind blasting my face and the warmth of the Sun on my Body and face also.
It feels great, I start laughing and then singing Born To Be WILD (the song from the film) lol.
After about 10 minutes the Dream starts to fade very quickly, I try to Spin but I'm to late and wake up.

I write it down and now try for a WILD/MILD and after a little while feel myself start to float around my room.
I have no humming sound or anything, just feel as if I'm floating and know I'm nearly in.
I lay still and after around a minute feel as if I'm sitting up and sliding side to side, like in the back seat of a Car turning left and right fast and it's throwing me about.
I keep my eyes closed just a few more seconds and then see the dark behind my eyelids go bright as if I'm outside on a Sunny day, I open them and am in a Car on a bright Sunny day!

I open the back door, jump out holding onto the roof and make my feet slide along the ground like I'm skating sort of thing, then Let go and slide along for quite a way as we were going very fast.
I go on to do more things but I'll get to the point now as this is already becoming a pretty long post and I don't want to bore anybody to much lol.

After Spinning to save the Lucid I come round in a Pub.
I look around a little, then walk over to the glass door as I want to see where I am and see someone I used to know from school, he's banging on the door to get in so I open it and let him in as I walk out, I don't want to talk as I'd already done enough talking in this Lucid and just want to explore.
As I walk outside I want to do a technique I read about a few days ago and have only tried a few times.
I put my hands close to my face, about 6 inches and look at all the fine lines on them and slowly rub them at the same time, only for a few seconds.
Then I grab something else close at hand, I had a sweet raper in my pocket, hold it close to my face and look at the details but don't keep it still for long, just move and crunch it as I'm looking at it.
Lastly I rub my hands over my body quickly and then look up to see where I am and as I do, see I'm in London! I can see Big Ben and the Houses Of Parliament just over from me across a large grassy green open square.
As I see it though it just sort of snaps into one of the crispest, most Vivid scenes I've ever seen!
The usual slightly Golden colour of the buildings is now a truly Vibrant, bright shining Gold, it's like someone's turned up all my senses and I just stop and look at this great site with my jaw almost open!
There's lots of people walking around in the square and I can hear every sound coming from them, much more that in my normal Lucid's.

I look for about 20 seconds or so and then it just fades back to what it looks like in real life, which is still really nice but seems dull now in comparison.
I use the technique again, look back at the buildings and they snap back into being Ultra Real again! This time though they fade back to normal in only about 10 seconds.

I go on to do other things but that's the end of the Hyper Realism in this Lucid.

      Thanks for reading.

A great read! Almost every time I WILD, my body floats and slides around the room as well. I have also done the, skating on my feet while holding onto a car, thing. Great stuff!

Congrats on hitting that hyper reality. It truly is a wonderful sensation. Its so amazing when you get to experience the sheer power of the human brain. I suggest you keep using that stabilization technique. It seemed to work really well for you. One thing to keep in mind, even though this hyper realism is astonishing, try to stay calm and keep your emotions in check. If you get too excited, that adrenaline kicks in and it can cause the hyper realism to fade. It may or may not have been what happened, but you can definitely keep that hyper realism up for long periods of time. Great job and thanks for sharing!!

      Hi Yoshi,

      Thanks mate.
Yeah I'll definitely keep trying that technique as it looks promising.

I think I may have lost the Hyper Realism as you say, due to just being blown away by it.
It happened a few weeks ago when I moved some clouds away from covering the sun as I wanted to brighten up the Dream.
As I swept them away with my hands expecting to see a bright blue sky, what I saw was a Hyper Realistic, Beautiful Sunset/rise instead, and again just looked in amazement for about 30 seconds.
That time though it didn't just go back to normal, it woke me up.

Yeah, there are a lot of amazing experiences in lucid dreams. Its hard not to get blown away with amazement sometimes. You will get used to it though and it will be easier and easier to experience all the goodness !

Yea that's awesome man, when you get realism beyond waking life it kind of makes you question if lucid dream might be another existence...(maybe not just in all of our heads) because if it's real it's real lol and I know there is a lot of lucid dreamers out there that have memories of dreams just as real as the memories of waking life

      LDpwns.

      Thanks man.
Yeah I know what you mean, calling them Dreams doesn't seem to do them justice, I have many brilliant memories from Lucid's that are as if I've really experienced them in Waking life.
