Finally a lucid dream, question mark?

Hey everyone! So I had a post in the "Attaining Lucidity" forum, so I figured I would post my progress here, as i did somewhat have a lucid dream. I have had 2 or 3 lucid dreams that lasted about 5 seconds (I woke up or went back to dream logic almost immediately after realize i was dreaming within my dreams.

      Here is what happened:

I got 6 hours of sleep (of course a good amount for REM). I wake up at 5:30 AM for a hospital shift from 6 AM until 2 PM. I tore my ACL not long ago and tried goin to work on crutches. They sent me home at 7:30 AM telling me I have to go home as policy says no working with crutches or a boot. I go home, and went back to bed figuring this would be a good WBTB chance, as my usual WBTB tries were few and only about 20-30 minutes.

      Results:

      - Had a dream about arguing with a guy and he punched me in the face. I felt real pain in my face, like a bruising sensation, and the pain in the dream nearly carried out into real life (ouch ), as I woke up a few times and realized that in real life i would try to move my body and barely move my arms and legs (also my first case of SP in my life, ever). That dream then ended and I went back to sleep with the intent to realize i was dreaming, and the following happened

      - I woke up in a long corridor, and the first thing that happened is I knew i was dreaming. Not even a "realization" that surprised me, I just knew i was in the dream world. I figured now is my chance to try to visit my dream world i created (mountain and lake scenery). I tried to make it happen with my will and the walls shifted but nothing happened. I ran to the back of the hallway to look behind a window to see if maybe it was outside, but it was just raining outside (and outside was just grass and a forest). During that whole thing It was not Super clear like real life, so I still am not sure how lucid i really was. Anyways, after that I sort of lost what little control I had, and even though I still knew it was a dream, the dreaming started turning towards a sex dream with dubstep music (which is not my favorite lol). Some stuff happened and I tried closing my eyes to change the scenery, but i was still in the same place (which still made me happy because any other lucid attempt i have had, closing my eyes ended the dream). I was able to choose what girl I wanted to fool around with, and than one girl looked at me with a smile, shook her head, and the dream ended.

The weird thing is that sexual interactions is not one of my goals for lucid dreaming. I still had knowledge of myself dreaming but it seems i lost control, and was stuck in a half aware/ half dream logic state. Anyways it is good progress. This was two weeks ago about, and I was camping this past week so I look forward to trying to achieve 100% lucidity again and soon!

I have what feels like real pain in my dreams as well. Some are teeth dreams and they really hurt! While in the dream. Once I wake up, I'm fine. I've also felt pressure before with incredible vividness. Like if someone is gripping my arm, or hugging, or something like that.

That's great that you were able to just be aware that you were dreaming and go with it, and not get overly excited like I have a habit of doing. I've gotten a lot better though. And a lot of my lucids seem kind of hazy and foggy. Working on trying the 'clarity now!' command.

Sex is not an agenda in my lucids either. There was one lucid dream that I had though that I was feeling particularly amorous, and a bed just materializes in front of me. XP Then this man appears behind me, already reaching for me, and I'm like, "Holy crap!" because I just had a fleeting thought and boom!, it became reality (dream reality ).

Anyways, congratulations on your lucid dream!

Thanks! Yeah I need to work on maintaining lucidity and getting it into focus because I have yet to have a lucid dream where, to my knowledge, I can wake up and say "I did what i want for the entire time I was lucid." It has always been hazy and lasting a few seconds. Although I must admit I only practice here and there and am still working on making it an every day practice. I am just glad (in a weird way for some) that all in one "session" I experienced sleep paralysis, vivid pain, and a higher level of lucidity than before
