A lucid dream I think...

I am new to all this, infact I have never studied any of this, but I came across this website because I had what I think was a very lucid dream experience last night. In this dream, I was extremely sad to wake up as I never wanted this experience to end. It had to be the most breathtaking experience I have ever had. Before I went to sleep I thought I was starting to have yet another panic attack as I was starting to see CEVs (closed eye visuals) which a person often gets off of psychadelics, but in my case, I get them when I am having a panic attack. As I finally managed to drift off to sleep I felt someone grab a hold of my shoulder which automatically woke me up in shivers. It was as if this paranormal being had passed through me, trying to grab my attention. After going back to sleep after that pretty neat experience, I found that I was in ability to control my dream. The dream was about me being able to make 'wishes' and be able to see the outcome of them as soon as I had wished for them. The dream started with a very vivid blue genie appearing before me, greeting me, and saying how I too could have the power of the magick arts. He told me he would grant me wishes as long as I like and of course, being the arrogant person I was, I did not believe him. I told him to blow something up, and he did. I was amazed! I think asked if he could give me the power to use his magick on my own and he did so. I remember testing the powers on a tree stump. I pointed my finger at a tree stump and said 'I wish for that tree stump to blow up' and it did. I guess I blacked out in the dream a bit as I don't remember how I got from this wooded area to my house. There I was, people around me I didn't know, including this special little girl. This girl stood out to me. She was crying to see a dolphin and there were none around so I told her to wait there. I went to the side of my house and wished for a 5,000 gallon aquarium with a dolphin inside it. I looked at the dolphin for several minutes admiring its blue glow. I went back to the girl and told her to come with me as I had something special to show her. It made me so happy to see her but when I got to the aquarium I noticed I had left the aquarium stickers on it. On the stickers it showed that I had 'WISHED' for these through magick and right at that moment my secret was out. Everything became a little bit hectic with people asking for things. I wanted to impress this girl and guy and they said they wanted some marijuana. I told them to hold on and I went down the road in my car, knowing exactly where I was going in the dream and pulled into a driveway, that is, after passing the driveway I was going to pull in but there was a big yellow bulldozer in it. I made it back and gave them a pound of marijuana. I woke up after this. All in all though, this dream was so amazing for me. This is the first dream that I have really felt connected to. Was this a lucid dream?

a dream is lucid if you are aware you are dreaming, some people can also control their lucid dreams but you dont have to be in control to be having an LD

I don't think I ever really said in the dream 'hey, you're dreaming dumbie'. It was kind of implied being I had magical powers though. Maybe it wasn't lucid but if it wasn't then it was sure the realest dream I have ever had in my life.

It wasn't lucid, but it was really close to it. Perhaps next time you will realise a blue genie wouldn't appear in reality and give you any wishes you want! I hate being so stupid while dreaming...
