      First conscious dream control.

So I've mastered dream recall 100% recently, when I wake up from lucid dreams I check my tattoos. My dream self does this now, and they're gibberish or they are scars rather than color. In fact in the last lucid dream I had, I had a tattoo on an arm that IRL has no tattoos and the letters of the tattoo were changing like a digital clock. I also had my most stable dream yet, being able to do certain things that have woken me up on more than 1 account in the past for much longer.

Oh, and I not only committed my first act of conscious dream control. It was actually somewhat of a huge leap for me, as I went from no dream control.... to being able to freeze things, people or inanimate objects, in place. Not just individual things either, I can freeze everyone and everything in the vicinity.

Congrats on lucid and success with dream control!
Dream control works on expectations and it does improves with practice, i suggest to check out this thread for more about it: http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...m-control.html

Thanks, my dream self has exerted dream control when I wasn't aware at all.

Also actually a lot of what I do is willpower... believing it's inevitable is quite easy for me personally, I am usually 100% certain I am dreaming and I know in dreams anything is possible. Trust me, when non-lucid I have dragon neighbors and giant cookies as president. So for me a lot of what I have to focus on is willing it to happen. But regardless I've been reading about it a lot today including on this site to get up to speed on everything. I may have a natural talent for this sort of thing, but it makes things more seamless when I know everything I possibly can.

      Congratulations from me as well!
Wow that sounds like another really cool way of doing your RCs... Interesting. I have read about so many RCs, but I still always find a few new ones that sound promising

Sounds like fun, freezing everything. My dream control is improving as well and my plan for my next LD is to bend the elements (earth in the first place). That must be epic. What are your future plans?
Saying there is no alien life in the universe is like dipping a cup in the ocean and saying there are no whales.

Thanks and I know right, so many ways. I'm lucky I found my own way, because it's a pretty fast check and I pretty much know instantaneously just by looking at my arms. It's actually an improvement, because at first I relied on jumping since I jump slower in my dreams... but that takes longer and isn't anywhere near as convincing for me.

And yeah it was very fun, I wasn't even planning on trying dream control so soon but I forgot my original intention so I thought "why the heck not" and tried. That is an awesome goal, the thought crossed my mind once with fire, I'll probably get to it at some point. As for my own plans? I think I'm going to take a step back actually, don't get me wrong it was so awesome to do and ideas for dream control are racing. But I realize I have bigger fish to fry, like increasing the length of my lucid dreams. I want to reach a point where I have hour long lucid dreams at least. But lucid control ideas? I'll probably try summoning, simply because that's the most common form of dream control my non-lucid self always exhibits. Then flying, then telekinesis... but again, I have quite the talent for this. I've only had 9 lucid dreams, but each one is a large leap. I could master 2 or more lucid dream controls in one go potentially.

I've always been an imaginative kid, I used to pretend my will actually affected the real world. So maybe that has something to do with it.

sounds pretty amazing yeaa I think taking back a step can be really good at times as well. I just made a long list of goals to keep me motivated and see all the awesome things that I will be able to do in my LDs soon At the moment I'm also working on increasing the vividness and making my LDs longer. I think that's a good thing to start with. I also heard that transforming small objects and doing things like changing their colour are good exercises as well

Well I don't think so for 1 reason: This is more of an update about my latest lucid experiences. Hence why I mentioned dream recall, my new reality check and the bit about being able to avoid waking up when doing certain things that previously would wake me up almost right away. Even attaining dream control is a land mark in my lucid experience as a whole.
