      First intentional MILD

I finally had my first intentional lucid dream last night. I've had lucids in the past but never planned them. I used the WBTB method along with the MILD and it worked really well. I remembered to do almost all of the things I told myself to do before I went back to sleep. I've been so focused on trying to WILD that I skipped right over the other techniques. I would suggest for anyone new, that you try to have a few intentional lucid dreams before attempting wild. Because its way easier and you get almost the same result. I did have one or two F/A's but it was worth it. I successfully summoned someone, used spinning to stay in my dream, flew a bit, went through two walls, talked to my DC's, and remembered a couple of the reality checks from this site. I have to thank everyone who gave me advice over the last couple days. I'm very excited to see how successfull I'll be tonight. Lucid dreams really are the best.

      Awesome, congrats!

This is why I always recommend MILD and WBTB -- they've worked well for me, and from what I've seen they seem to work for the widest variety of people.

It's great that you had a chance to do most of the things you wanted before waking up, too. Usually the first time you get so excited you either wake up, or you forget what you had planned. Way to go, all around!!
