I just asked my characters how they think my novel is going! Incredible :)

At first, I was in my house, my bedroom and floated down the stairs. Mum and her boyfriend were sat on the sofa and I said “Hello” and again I flew over the hedge in the garden. I didn’t need to ‘tread air’ to do it this time, I just went for it. There was a red petal palace, very interesting! I often don’t control what I see at the start, I just see what happens lol (mainly because I can't think that quickly!)

Then, I thought to myself, “I need to see the castle from my novel, not just any castle. I need these words on this flag.” And my fictional castle came to life. Then I saw the oceans, heard them crashing against the rocks and a cave with skulls near the sea. It was a mixed dream really, Lucid and non-Lucid because I went exploring in the cave but I was suddenly one of my characters too?
I spotted the ship from my novel below on the seas, and heard one of my main characters, cry “Will!” when I was flying over the seas.

Knowing I had to speed things up, I thought, “I want to ask my characters some questions.” I floated down to a long rock-type thing and walked up to Will. (My main protagonist.) He wasn’t very clear to look at, but in a way that didn’t matter. “Will? How do you think I’m doing? Anything I need to improve?” I remember thinking his answer before he answered, but he said something different anyway! “No, you’re doing well. Keep going." I chatted to my villain, and he said "I have everything I wanted and I'm going to kill him."

It was amazing, and it's thanks to this site I thought of doing it because I'd never considered using my novel in Lucid dreaming before.

Anyone else had something similar? I'd love to hear what you thought of mine and what you've dreamt too

Okay, that's officially one of the coolest dreams ever!!! I'm writing a story too, but I had never thought of meeting with my characters in a lucid dream... thanks for the idea!

Loved your villain's reply, btw lol

Heya Angelpotter Hahaha, isn't it just?! I thought my other one was amazing (the one where I kissed my crush of seven years lol) You can find it in the same section as this if you're interested!

Are you? I really would recommend it in that case. I didn't think of it before until I read other's experiences, and then this morning it was like 'Oh, lightbulb!'

      Thank you, he's horrible!!!!!
