Thread: Is this a lucid dream

Well i had this dream awhile ago -kind of weird but in the dream me and my family were in a car going home and when we got home and got out on the drive way we opened the boot and flies were swarming everywhere like all over the place and coming out the chimney in my house everywhereee and somehow i knew i was in a dream.I started screaming really loud to get out but the screams wernt comming out and my mouth was like in slow motion i could hardly open it, it was horrible the rest is just a blur but i didnt think about controlling the dream at all i didnt even know that i could control it i just wanted to get out of it right away, lol. was this a lucid dream or not? hmm

At the point where you thought (“and somehow i knew i was in a dream.I started screaming”) you were lucid but the level of lucidity was not high and you lost sight of that. Try to remember something like rubbing your hands together or spinning to stay lucid or gain clarity.
