I've finally had a lucid ..... i think PLEASE RESPOND

After what has seemed like years I think i have had a lucid and im gonna post it to see if it really was one

1st dream 2 of my friends were in my house one in my parrents bedroom and the other outside it.I was there two. My other friend ran in babbling about "some weird force in my house so i grabbed my sword (that my dad gave me) but it had thease new spikes comeing out of the sides.and as i went outside the bed room i notecied the stairs were turned aurouned the other way and were on the wrong side of the hall way and insted of going down one floor it went down like 3 (my house has only 2 storys and a basement i was on the top)i was in this really creepy cellar with cobwebs and spirt looking things all auround i walked verry slowly and the spirts juset seamed to dissapate and i eventually came to a crossraods one way went to the king of thease spirts that i had to fight the other a club where they were allready celebrateing my killing of the spirit king. i went into the club. it was all red with red shag carpting and red tiles in certian places and had 2 stairways leading to a dance floor and one to nothingness. red lights were also on the celing makeing everything that wasent allrerdy red red collared.

I woke up and layed in bed falling back to sleep.

I was in the club again and as i looked auround i saw the celing lights. i instantly knew i was lucid i dont know how i knew i juest knew. but to test this i examed my sences yep everything was in order exept i had this weird feeling in my head that was a constant reminder that i was lucid i was dreaming.so i tryed out my free will. i went down the dark stairwell to nothingness and wound up in a gymnausinum it was night time i could tell by the windows but something had recently happend as there were people there. and as i walked through the gym and people passed me by to leave i thought "ok so im lucid what do i want to do..... come on seth your first lucid you have to thing of something. i got it i can meet a charcter from a videogame" i decided who i wanted to meet and closed my eyes and thought i want to meet Tails (i have been playing alot of sonic latly so thats who i diced to pick) i want to meet Tails i want to meet Tails and i than woke up ,or so i thought

I was on my kitchen table being shaken awake by my mother she yelled at me for staying up so late and said this is what happens when you do.i told her i have finally lucided and in paradox to her true nature she yelled at me saying that she didn't care i called her a bi*ch and said she wasent my real mother and as if answering to my statemint i regained lucidty again but woke up after like 2 secs like the dream wanted me to figure out that this women was an imposter.

this happend about a week ago but i juest put off posting the topic untill now i havent been able to lucid sence eather but i know how i relized how i got lucid the 1st time

a couple weeks ago i had an experment i told my self reppedatly that red light ment dreaming beceause latter that night a friend was going to come in and flash red light on my eyes unfortunatly i was unable to sleep that night so the test faled but i think this is defantly how it worked was this really a lucid or juest a really realistic dream
Do not fear the dark it is not evil juest misunderstood. [url=Cocuments and SettingssethDesktopbanner ad.gif[/url]

      Dear Seth,

Now that you know that you DO indeed have Lucid Dreams, you will have to create for yourself a pre-planned Lucid Dream Checklist -- the things that you will want to do when you go Lucid.

Also, with a Lucid Dreaming Checklist, it give your Mind time to create the Images you will wish to see. You know, it was a bit unfair of you to ask to see a lifesize figure from a Video Game when you were in your first Lucid Dream. How was your mind supposed to comply with such a tall order? It takes the Mind time to create these images. If you had had a Lucid Dream Checklist, and this Video Action Figure had been on the List, then your Mind would have had some time to prepare for this demand.

Also, you should realize that your Dreaming Mind does indeed have a Mind of its Own -- it has a Will and Volition of its own. Everything you have heard about being able to do anything you want, ... all that you have heard of having Total Control... well, forget all of that. it was all hype. It was all promotion. It was all promise to suck you in. Actually, nothing much has changed. Your Conscious Mind is still the 10%, and your Higher Mind is still 90%. The 10% will never be the Master of the 90%.

So, confine your Lucid Dream Checklist Items to objectives that are within your conscious power. For instance, don't demand that your Dream provide a certain Image because you cannot control that. But you can Plan to levitate. You can Plan to 'discontinue the action of the present dream'. You can resolve to say a certain Prayer or intone a certain Mantra. Will to do things in a Lucid Dream that you know you have power to do.

Now, why do I focus on Prayers and Mantras. Well, Dreams are the Threshold of Magic, and Prayers and Mantras are the positive aspects of what are ordinarily called Spells and Charms. What Spells and Charms are the most powerful? Well, you have heard of the Collective Consciousness, haven't you? Consult the Religious Literatures of the World and find out what the most powerful Prayers and Mantras have been. The Prayers and Mantras that have been used from time immemorial have a great deal of power behind them -- in the Astral Field they have set up a Powerful Subjective Reality which your repetition would feed into.

But you can also use a Lucid Dreaming Checklist to work on Personal Issues and Spiritual Development. Let your Higher Mind know which direction you would wish to go in. And then leave if for your Higher Mind to create the Perfect Dream for that Situation. Then, the next time you go Lucid, simply walk away from present Dream Activity and then Levitate away and allow yourself to descend into the Pre-Planned Lucid Dream Scenario, or you can do the Lucid Twirl -- spin around and when you stop you will be within the Lucid Dream Scenario which you had suggested to your Higher Mind in the details of your Lucid Dreaming Checklist.

Sometimes your Higher Mind will go along with your suggestions perfectly, but at other times your Higher Mind will present Tests and Dilemmas. You might find that you are not instantly ready to face certain Spiritual Realities, and that your Higher Mind will respond to your requests by showing you where your problems exist and where resistance has been found. But such limited Lucid Dreams will indeed be opportunities for Spiritual Growth. The Questions posed by these Lucid Dreams will help one to formulate the objectives to be listed in one's Update of one's Lucid Dreaming Checklist.

wouldnt being truly lucid not require a check list. if your lucid, you just ask yourself what you want to do , then do it. right? ive been that lucid but woke up! what do you imply by saying you need to have a checklist instilled. that sounds to me like incubating a dream about being lucid!

People get excited when they finally go Lucid, and then there are the thousands of things that everyone has always bragged about... lied about doing. So when the time comes and of all those thousands of possibilities, what do you do? Just like this person here had explained, one of the most common decisions is to virtually do nothing at all.

You know, there is nothing wrong with planning ahead. For instance, when one goes to a Guru's Ashram, it is almost expected that one will rehearse a question for the Guru. If the Guru should walk up and ask, "What did you come all the way around the World for?", then it should be best if you could reply with something a bit more intelligent than a stutter.

Also, despite what some people claim, Lucid Dreams are never frequent. They can be considered as being rare and valuable opportunities, and you would spend them on spur of the moment whims... whatever would pop into your head in that moment of confused excitement.

No, it never hurts to plan ahead. If you would want to have a meaningful and important Life, you might consider designing it that way by some conscious and deliberate intention. Or has being entirely haphazard worked so well for you so far?

      Leo Volont, he got point

Hi I have just read your lucid dream experience, and I am convinced u have had a lucid experience. I have lucid dreams for many years now, but now I know how what it really is. I think Leo is right about the preperation. Since I have lucids quite regurarly I planned to fly in the dream.
Last week I had another one. I was standing in my room and talking to one of my dear friends. Then I recognized the floathing feeling that I get with these dreams and I told myself lets try to fly. Slowly my body began to take in a vertical position and I was floathing in the air. I wanted to fly around, but where to? The door was closed so I could not get through, then I woke up.
So you can have something in mind before you go into lucid, but you have got to be prepared what to do next when you find yourself in the situation. I think flying is a little bit to diffecult for me, cause where too? I can floath through the house and trade places easily in my dreams. So for my next lucid I have to think of something else to try...
      Good luck on the way!
